Chapter Seventy-four:

Hey Aaron, Jess picked up the phone.

Happy Birthday.

Thank you sweetheart. Was your thanksgiving good?

Yeah, Angel told me to tell you that she missed you.

I had to be with my family for this one.

Same here.

I miss you to death Carter.

I miss you too. Im sorry I couldnt make it today. Ill be on the first flight home tonight.

Okay. I really wish your flight hadnt been delayed, Jess was obviously sad.

I do too. Um, Jessie?

Yes Aaron?

Go answer the door.

But nobodys, there was a knock on the door, there.

I love you Jessie, Aaron whispered and hung up his phone.

Jessie walked to the door and slowly opened it. A package for a Miss. Lane, the delivery man held out a box.

Thank you, Jess shut the door and sat down to open the box.

Happy Birthday, Aaron whispered from behind her.

Oh Carter! Jess turned to face him.

So shoot me! I lied a little, Aaron smiled and kneeled down in front of her.

Oh Carter, she whispered again as his lips met hers. When Aaron began to pull away Jess pulled him back, Bang, and kissed him again.

Girl, I think I should surprise you more often.

You probably wouldnt get as good a reaction if you did.

I wouldnt be so sure, Aaron began to massage her hands, arms and then stood up to rub her shoulders. So what did you get?

So far, Ive gotten some jewelry, clothes, shoes, and money.

Open your box, Aaron leaned down and kissed her shoulders and neck as he continued to massage.

Oh Aaron, its gorgeous, Jess lifted a stylish red dress out of the box with shoes and jewelry to match.

Go put it on.
