Chapter Thirty-six

Alexander James McLean come over here, Elise smiled as he shut the door to their room.

Im coming, he walked over to his wife and wrapped his arms around her. They dont go as far as they used to.

Oh shush, she leaned into a long-awaited kiss.

I have so much to tell you. A.J. said with a whisper.

First I want to see how buff you are.

He lifted his shirt off and smiled. Elise smiled as she ran her fingers over his arms and chest, You look great.

Thank you but I would have to say you look better. He sat down on the bed in front of her and set his hands on her belly. Did you ever think love could be so strong for someone youve never even met?

No.

Shes my world Elise. Its something Ive never felt before I mean youre my world too but its different. He wrapped his arms around her and gently pulled her onto the bed, her back to him. After a little while of talking and kissing Elise began got fall asleep.

Hey dont do that, A.J. whispered kissing her shoulder.

But I want to.

But I have to go to the interview soon and I dont want to leave you.

Dang, she rolled over and smiled at him.

Good, he gently kissed her.

As they kissed there was a sharp knock at the door. Are you two decent? Nick called in.

Yes!

Okay youve got about five minutes, Nick leaned in the doorway and said.

Alright. Now leave. Nick ducked out the door.

I dont want to get up, Elise whispered.

Then we wont. Well make them come in here and drag us out.

That will be exciting. She rolled back over and pulled his arms around her. Dont let go, she took his hands to her lips and gently kissed them.

Ive missed this the most. He pulled her as close to him as possible and slowly began to kiss her neck, moving down her arms. Pulling her hands to his lips he closed his eyes, I love you Lise.

I love you too Alex.

Both lay silent in each others arms, eyes closed, content in the moment. They didnt even notice Nick coming in with the photographer for the magazine. With a flash the moment was immortalized.

Hey you two rise and shine, guess what its photo time! Nick yelled running out the door.

Should we make them drag us?

Come on baby. A.J. stood up and pulled his shirt on. He leaned down and pulled her up off the bed into his arms. Here we go, he kissed her forehead.

They walked hand-in-hand to where everyone was waiting for them. You guys looked so cute. Nick taunted in a baby voice.

A.J. nodded hello to everyone and turned to Nick. Shut up. That voice is gay who do you think you are? A teletubbie?

Alright everyone how about we start this interview? Kevin said sternly.

The magazine people hadnt expected the guys to bring their women and children but eventually found enough chairs for everyone. So Howie, how long had you two been together before the engagement?

Howie smiled and winked at Jen, Jen and I were together 9 months, 2 weeks and 4 days before I proposed, he leaned over and kissed her.

Dang D., you sure are accurate, Nick laughed.

It was probably more like 9 months, 2 weeks and 4 days before he got any, A.J. joked.

Ha-ha, very funny. Lets see, A.J. how long has it been since you got any? Howie shot back.

Ouch that hurt! Nick laughed.

Brian and Kevin were both trying to hide smiles. Hey thats not my fault.

Actually it is considering you got her pregnant, Howie laughed.

Boys stop! all the girls said at the same time.

How about we move on?

Good idea, A.J. rested his chin on Elises shoulder.

They finished the interview with minimal interruptions. Okay, photo time. Im sorry girls, a few pictures of just the boys please, the photographer smiled as the girls sadly said good-bye for the few moments of the photo shoot. The photographer was getting annoyed with them all though because the guys were staring at the girls. You know what? Why dont you girls sit on your mans lap and you hold the baby. He took a few pictures of them all together and the shoot was over.

Couldnt keep their eyes of each other, the interviewer whispered as they left.

I noticed, trust me, whispered back the photographer.
