Elise smiled as he kissed her. She felt her belly. That was her child. Then she remembered the picture the doctor had handed her. It was in her purse. She had to see this child inside her. She stood up and walked over to her purse. A.J. looked at her stunned. She sat on his lap and pulled the photo out of the manila envelope.
A.J. wrapped his arms around her and leaned over her shoulder to look. "That�s my baby?" he asked curious.
She turned and kissed him, "That�s our baby."
He looked at her pocket where there was a piece of paper and it fell out. It was a magazine cover of him. "Huh?"
She looked down and smiled. "I needed you with me."
He leaned back and they fell asleep in each other�s arms. "Ding. Dong." The doorbell woke them up.
"A.J. It�s your dad!" cried the man through the door.
A.J. looked over at Elise. "What the he** do you want?" he yelled.
"I heard a rumor that your girlfriend was at the hospital." The man yelled again.
"It�s my fianc�e and leave me alone you bastard!" A.J. hated when his dad popped up for no reason.
"A.J. calm down baby, just tell him I�m fine and I don�t need any help." Elise whispered.
A.J. told him just that and told him to leave his property immediately. His father actually left and about five minutes later the door opened. "A.J. it�s mom you here?" Denise said slowly. "I just saw your father leave. Are you ok?" She saw A.J. rubbing Elise�s belly and telling the baby that it�s grandfather wouldn�t bother it ever again. "A.J. don�t worry about your father."
"Oh mom why does he have to be like that?" A.J. said and hugged his mom.
"A.J. I don�t know you gotta ignore him sometimes." She smiled at Elise, "You feel ok?" she said to her.
"Yeah I guess� Mom." She said and winked at A.J. who beamed.
"Mom? So does that mean?" Denise looked at her son.
"Yeah mom I�m getting married." He said and kissed Elise�s forehead.
Denise smiled and hugged her son and Elise. "Congratulations you two I think I�ll leave you alone now." She winked and walked out the door.
