Jared Smart Interview
RedStorm39: Hello, I am here with Braveheart Jared
Smart. How are you today Jared??
JS882: I am doing pretty good, enjoying a nice french vanilla coffee and still smiling over the Hit Man's big win
RedStorm39: yea, I know how big of a fan you are.. so tell us, what stable are you with at the moment??
JS882: Well, I guess some people are still finding it hard to believe, but I have left SPS, and that's for the record. People always ask if I am bringing SF back, the thing is, it has never died.
RedStorm39: oh it hasn't, so we have not seen the last of the never ending stable??
JS882: (smile) Not as long as there are still people with dignity and honour in the IWA
RedStorm39: ok, then.. If I may ask, people want to know, why did you leave SPS??
JS882: That seems to be the big buzz around the IWA. I left for many reasons. Ya know, they are headed by two very talented managers in CJ Frank and Mike Elwood, but I feel as though I was, somewhat over looked in the roster. I liken it to a star baseball played signed to a new team and then benched. Not to mention my relationship with the rest of SPS wasn't that great. I think to put it simply, I wasn't happy.
JS882: Ego's played a big part in my choice as well. Too over confident.
RedStorm39: ok, I see. Well have you started recruting for SF??
JS882: I have actually had people coming to me about it. I am very over welmed at the support I've gotten with SF.
RedStorm39: thats great to hear. Well now lets get to the down and dirty buisness, I am going to name a manager and you tell me what you really think about them
JS882: Go for it
RedStorm39: Lets start it off with John Durani
JS882: I have respect for the guy, although we've never met. I hear good things about him.
RedStorm39: yea, hes a good guy, check out his interview at IWA World(PLUG)....
RedStorm39: next we have Dave Becker
JS882: Dave Becker. The guy is very cool. He was actually close to joining the Foundation earlier this year. Very good manager and very talented. And he's started an awesome IWA site in his "IWA Universe"
RedStorm39: yea, I agree with you there.....now we have Dave White
JS882: How many wrester's does he own named Dave? There again, I have never been in the same league as him. All I know about this guy is hear-say
RedStorm39: ok, now how about Mike Elwood
JS882: Another very talented manager and co-leader of a stable that will be great someday. Needs to keep a watch on attitude of his roster.
RedStorm39: ok, now we come to the great John Hollister, :-)
JS882: Another guy who nearly joined SF. It could have been good.
RedStorm39: yep, I don't know why it didn't happen
JS882: maybe it could soon, we'll have to wait and see
RedStorm39: I guess so...
RedStorm39: Now I would like to hear your opinion on the Chris Norndorf cheating incident
JS882: Cheating....well, I am sure more people do it and don't get caught. Is he proud of it or something?
RedStorm39: I am not sure....
RedStorm39: Well now I would like to move onto stables, I will name them and you tell me what you think about them
RedStorm39: lets start it off with EPIC
JS882: go ahead
JS882: I don't really see much out of them in the leagues I am in.
RedStorm39: ok, next we have PRO
JS882: definately the best there is
RedStorm39: like Bret??
JS882: hahaha, I wouldn't go that far
RedStorm39: but are they the best there was, in your eyes
JS882: In the IWA yes. I don't think there is anyone in the IWA who wouldn't jump at the chance to join their ranks and that's the truth.
RedStorm39: who would you say is the best there ever will be??
JS882: stable wise?
RedStorm39: yes
JS882: PRO
RedStorm39: ok, now whats your opinion on XXX'
JS882: Dreaming to be the best
JS882: talented, but not PRO's
RedStorm39: you sure are Brave
RedStorm39: now we go ahead to MOD
JS882: I like this group a lot. I am know Justice, fellow Canadian and along with the talented roster, they are solid. I think the reformation has them stronger than ever.
RedStorm39: ok, now how about SPS
JS882: Like I said before, a talented group. But some members are over confident. Cocky. And that is good to some extent, but too much goes too far.
RedStorm39: ok, now who do you think is the most underrated and overated stable??
JS882: that is tough
RedStorm39: yea... but who would you say
JS882: underrated, I would say it's close between XXX and XTREME. Overated I would say VILE. That TJ Roe is worthless
RedStorm39: ok, now the same question for managers
JS882: added to that underrated list, I'd also say RAGE
RedStorm39: yea, thats what I was thinking
RedStorm39: now... who would you say is the most over-rated and under-rated manager
JS882: Managers, again, I'd say it's tough. Unerrated, I would say Darrell "The King" Brewer. Finally this guy proved it taking the World belt.
RedStorm39: ok...and for overrated
JS882: Overrated in his own mind is Nick Varcoe
JS882: this guy thinks he is some kind of God in the IWA.
RedStorm39: ok...well before I end this interview, is there anything you would like to say?? any plugs??
JS882: Yeah, the Foundation is not dead first off. And as to where you may see us, there are a few places and a few managers you may not expect. Check out the SF page, http://smartfoundation.cjb.net my weekly column, 'The Dungeon" which can be found on the SF page and the Official MAL Homepage
RedStorm39: ok, then... I hope everyone enjoys this interview as much as I did, you now know what is in the mind of the BraveHeart Jared Smart, please come back to the IWA World soon!!!!
