RedStorm39: now I would like to start off with the question everyonewants to know..Why did you leave XXX??
PSY SAM H1: Well, thats a bit of a long story, so I'll try to keep itshort. Some things happened in XXX that I didn't like much, people left, thencame back. Some others did 360 degree turns on how they stood to let them back in. And some others didn't like our size, but didn't want people cut. Itwas really a combination of many things combined, too many to talk about, inthe space allowed here. That made me realize I had very little ability, evenas a leader to do things I thought were neccessary for XXX.
RedStorm39: well...how about the whole timing...why leave when John isgone and you are left incharge
PSY SAM H1: That was two fold actually, my first reason was I felt theguys should know how I felt. John wanted me to wait, he wanted to prepare the guys for me leaving. Which I thought was unnecessary, they're all adults, and they didn't need to be handled so gently, my leaving was not the end of theworld by any means. My second reason was to prove a point to John, and to thegroup, that XXX will survive without me just fine. Many people in XXX said if John or I leave, it will fold, and I didn't believe that at all. XXX is morethen just one person, I've always said that.
RedStorm39: ok, so know why PRO..well I mean they are great but whatmade you go for them over all the great stables
PSY SAM H1: Well, it was very difficult for me to choose a stable, withthem all being very close talent wise, and all have good people. But I justfelt PRO really fit me right now, it felt comfortable to me. Thats not reallythe most clear cut answer I suppose, but I'm sure other IWAers have felt thatway about a stable before also.
RedStorm39: ok..now to get onto the the time wher I will name somestables and you tell me what you think about them
RedStorm39: first we have MOD
PSY SAM H1: Justice is a good friend of mine, and MOD to the core. Theyhave some good people in MOD, quite a few friends of mine, Bert, Josh, Juan,Jorge, and I think they could be a top 10 stable next year. But they need oneor two "Impact" guys to help them along.
RedStorm39: ok..next we have the new CORE
PSY SAM H1: I know all the guys in CORE, some really good friends ofmine in there. They have the potential to become very good if they can allstay active, and get along ok together.
RedStorm39: ok..next PRO
PSY SAM H1: What can I say?, a great leader in LP, tons of talent in the whole stable. Not a weak link anywhere to be seen. And they're all great guysto talk and chill with, they have treated me like I've been in PRO forever.I've really enjoyed being in PRO so far, its a very laid back type of stable,just sit back, have fun, and play the game. And thats a nice change of pacefor me.
RedStorm39: ok..now SPS
PSY SAM H1: Mike and CJ are my boys, so i can't say anything bad aboutthem, lol. But seriously, SPS has alot of potential just like CORE. They havesome very good young talent, that just needs some time to develope more. Oncethat happens, SPS could become a very good stable.
RedStorm39: agred..now lastly XXX
PSY SAM H1: Even though I didn't agree with how some things thathappened in XXX, or with some people in XXX now, I still think very highly ofthem. They're a very talented stable, with some of the best people I know inthe entire IWA in there. I don't leave with any malice toward XXX or anyonein XXX, I have nothing but respect for them guys. I just felt I couldn't doanymore for them, and I didn't believe we were all on the same page anymoreeither. They will be a top stable again next year as well, I have no doubt'son that.
RedStorm39: ok..now I would like to hear your views on the Magoon-Kimball cheating thing
PSY SAM H1: No comment
RedStorm39: LoL..ok then, now on to managers
RedStorm39: first we have Justice
PSY SAM H1: Justice a great guy, and a great friend, one of the people Itruly call a friend out here. I have nothing but respect for him.
RedStorm39: yea..next we have LP (I don't think anyone can spell hisname)
PSY SAM H1: I even spell it wrong, lol, he's another great guy, a damngood leader, and tons of talent. He's one of the best managers out theretoday, and probably of all time.
RedStorm39: ok..next John Durani
PSY SAM H1: John is a good friend, good leader, and a hell of a niceguy, maybe, as I've told him before, he's too nice for his own good. XXX willgo on just fine with him leading it into, and beyond 2000. =)
RedStorm39: oakly doakly....now we have Dave Becker
PSY SAM H1: The Ace, Dave is a cool guy, who's only drawback in the IWA,is his inconsistency. If he could be more consistent, he would be a majorreport threat. But at any rate, he's a nice guy, who's fun to chat with outhere.
RedStorm39: ok..and now lastly the choosen one..god..John Hollister
PSY SAM H1: John who?, lol, just kidding, another cool guy who suffersfrom inconsistency. Could become very good one day, with the right stable,and guideance, SPS could do that for you.
RedStorm39: thanks...now I would like to know who you think is the most over-rated and most under-rated stable in the IWA
PSY SAM H1: Theres really too many managers out here that are overratedactually. Their names earned thru the net, and maybe one major, or a coupleof report app's, so I won't point out just one. Underrated, thats tough, butthree stick out, Dan Delaney, Eric Lindsay, and Larry Thompson. None of themare ever mentioned as top 20 managers, let alone top 10. But they win farmore then alot of others who are mentioned.
RedStorm39: ok..now same question for stables
PSY SAM H1: Ok, underrated would be HB, AJ and Mike, along with theothers, make it a top 10 right now. Its a sure bet to be big in 2000, and Iwouldn't be surprised if its a top 5. Overrated would be XXX, I know the guyswill kill me for that one, lol. But I even think we were a bit overrated whenI was in XXX. Its a top 10 for sure, maybe a top 5, but not a top 3 stableyet. XXX has always had only 6 to 8 guys winning consistently at any onetime. less then half the members, they all need to get going to make it #1.
RedStorm39: ok....and now lastly I would like to know who is your mostrespected manager and who is your least respected manager
PSY SAM H1: Least respected is easy, Ali S. who's nothing but a bitch!.Most respected is very hard, and I wouldn't want to single one person outover anyone else. Those who have my respect, know that already. =)
