| Epoxy Basement Cracks |

|
A highly technical, yet relatively inexpensive repair procedure, epoxy injection is performed from the inside of your home, eliminating the destruction of landscaping. In a two-step procedure, the crack is prepared in such a way that the injectionprocess actually fills the crack completely with liquid expoy, from inside to outside, ensuring 100 percent coverage within the crack. This method literally glues the wall back together, preventing water leakage and actually restoring structural strength.

Overview of the process...
The crack is first sealed on the surface to help contain the resin once it is injected. Next, a series of holes are drilled at a 45 degree angle to the crack in order to intersect the crack inside the concrete. Special fittings called packers are hammered into the holes to allow the injection pump to be connected. Once water is introduced into the crack the injection of the urethane resin begins. The injection starts at the bottom of the crack and proceeds from packer to packer until the entire crack is filled. The working pressure of the pump varies between 1500 & 2000 psi. Small openings in the surface sealant allow monitoring of the resin's progress to make sure the repair is complete.
