My master took part in the ruins-site
meeting
the other day. He said "This is a farming
hoe
which is pulled by a horse or a cow. It was
used
just before planting rice in the ricefield
full of
water in yayoi age (about 1700 years ago).
Experts say its original size is 100 cm width
(real size 70 cm) and 53 cm tooth length.
It seems to have been 12teeth. It was dug
out in IshidaRuins,Notogawa Tow,@r@
Prefecture, JapanDh felt its toothlength@
long. An expert says "Though it's too
long,
most of part of the teeth were in sight over
the surface of the water. And the same kind
old hoes are all long "

My master participated in the site meeting
of ruins
at Goze City , Nara Prefecture , Japan June
11.
He said " Kamotuba Ruins is in Goze
City and
there found 4 bronze mirrors , a sword ,
personal ornaments etc in the square tomb
No1(19m*14m) .
According to experts grave goods are relatively
gorgeous for the small tomb and it is unusual
that
the reflecting faces of the mirrors were
on the ground
( like the left picture ) It's a mystery
Why the mirrors
were placed upside down.
As a powerful clan Katsuragi family lived
there ,
it seems that its tomb was made by them.
This(left) is a partially broken bronze mirror
(which
real figure is circle and its diameter is
18.5cm).
It was maded in kofun age about 1650years
ago. "

My master joined the site meeting at Mitsuzuka
anci-
ent tombs,Taima Town,NaraPref.Japan on June24
.He
said,"Experts say its tomb No11 was
built 1400years
ago based on Chinese old thouguts"Fusui".
The Tomb
is the oldest one by the ancient thoughts.
Fusui seems
to be the direction decision principle for
luck when we
build our houses ,buildings and tombs etc. These
tombs
are located on the halfway of the southern
slope of
Mt.Nijyouzan and Kumatani river runs to east
in the
foot of the mountain. Good location seems
to be a
mountain in the northern parts and a river
in the sou-
thern parts.
