    About your host:

    Heather Kitching founded Queer FM in 1993 after leaving professional radio to work in music industry sales and marketing. She is a former activist with the December 9th Coalition, a former board member of EGALE, and the former Vice President of the organizing committee of the North American Conference on Bisexuality, Gender, and Sexual Diversity. When not hosting Queer FM, she does sales, marketing and publicity for roots and world music artists. She also contributes queer news items to Sirius Out Q and This Way Out. And she's been a very-occasional-contributor to CBC Radio.
