The time is nearly upon us. IWA's most recognizable stars will battle against the best in the Alliance in hopes of bringing the gold back to Canada.
NWA World Cruiserweight Title: Adam Burke upset Jay Moreno to become the Cruiserweight champ, only to lose it back to Moreno on OWC Unchained. Burke recently lost the IWA International champion. Now, he looks to bounce back and regain Alliance gold to be known as the top Cruiserweight in the World.
NWA World TV Title: After a more than impressive 4 month reign as IWA Champion, The Boog-man looks poised to become the World TV champion, adding to his already outstanding list of accomplishments. The only thing standing in his way is former NWA Cruiserweight champion, Calib Wallace, aka, Blade.
NWA World Hardcore Title: Mike Bell has undoubtedly risen the bar of the IWA Extreme title, laying waste to superstar after superstar. Bell has had spectacular hardcore bouts with some of IWA's top stars, and as a result, has put the NeWA "Softcore" title to shame. Now, he finally gets another chance to pull the Hardcore title out of the gutter, so to speak, and claim what has been his for months already. But standing in his way is a more than formidable cast. Current Hardcore champion Archangle, Tyler Lee, and Steve Arezzo.
NWA North American Title: Evan Hurley is a man with heart. A man with courage to rival any warrior past or present. A man who rages on, through success and through failure. A man, who on Sunday, will battle Mike Sloan, Vic Vary and Ken Jansen. Evan will one day be a major player in the Alliance. Is Wrestle Classic the beginning?
NWA World Heavyweight Title: Adam Knight has truly upped his level of competition recently, proving that he can indeed beat the best of them. Knight recently bested then IWA Heavyweight champion, The Boog-man, on IWA TV, only weeks after he left the company for the south. Now, the IWA champion is Darrel Besolve. Can Knight dispose of two IWA Heavyweight champions, or will "The Future" bring the World Heavyweight title back to Canada, where it truly belongs?
Wrestle Classic 2002 - March 31, 2002. The Presence of the IWA will be felt.
