Joe: *Gives Mimi a diamond necklace* Here sweetheart.
Mimi: *Surprised* Oh my god!! Thank you! *Hugz* I love you.
Joe: *Turns pink* y-w-ya-y-well.
Matt: *Behind the corner* *sighs* So Mimi does love Joe after all. She probably
doesn't even remember us. *laughs in pain* Ya... us.....

(Flashback)
Mimi: OW! Stupid mud puddle.
Tai: Will you stop complaining?
Matt: Leave her alone, Tai.
Tai: Hmph, for a girl that dresses up like a cow girl, you definatly aren't prepared like one.
Mimi: *Glare*
Joe: Come on Tai, we can't think of fighting each other, we have to concentrate on
the big guy!
Matt: Ya, so stop it and let's keep going.
(As they procede, Mimi walks beside Matt)
Mimi: Thanks Matt.
(And for the first time, they actually noticed each other in a special way.
Matt: *smiles* No problem. Tai can be big-headed sometimes, I'm sure you know that
already huh?
Mimi: *Smiles and nods* Ya....*and they hold hands briefly before being interrupted*
TK: Hey Matt, are you ok?
(Their hands part and after some more babbling from TK)
TK: *Chuckles* Isn't she cute Matt?
Matt: *Turns bright pink*....
(Flashback End)

Joe: Here, I'll put the necklace on for you.
Mimi: *Smiles* Ok.
(As she spins around, Matt only had one chance to see her face before it was covered
by Joe)
Matt: Oh Mimi. *Thinks to himself and smacks his cheek* What am I doing? I'm already
married to Sora!!

(Not far away, unnoticable to Matt, Sora was spying on him as well)
Sora: How could he! *tears brimming her eyes* We're married! *turns around and runs
and cries at the same time* How could he do this to me!! *the path in front of her
became blurry* Why, Matt why?!?!

BAM!

Sora: *On the ground* Oh, I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I wa-
Tai: Sora?
Sora: *looks up* .... Tai?
Tai: *helps her up and looks at her tear stained cheeks* Were you crying?
Sora: *Looks away* ..no....
Tai: We've grown up together so I'm pretty sure I know when you're crying.
*puts his hands on her shoulders and looks deep into her eyes* Are you ok?
Sora: *couldn't hold in her tears anymore* No! *sobbing and crying on Tai's
shoulder* It's- it's *sob*

(Back around the corner)
Joe and Mimi: *Exchange kisses*
Matt: *Looks away in deep hurt* I better get going... *Walks away* *Sigh* What
am I going to do? I love Sora, but I love Mimi too an-
(As he turns the next corner, he sees Sora embraced in a kiss with Tai)
Matt: *In shock* What the?
(Tai and Sora part)
Sora: *blushes* .....what was that all about?
Tai: *smiles* I got the feeling Matt never gave you one in a long time...
Sora: *looks away* .... ya...
Matt: *Still in shock* How? Why? *In pain inside* I've lost both of them. I'm so
stupid! *A single tear runs down his cheek*
Sora and Tai: *Exchange hugs*
Sora: I haven't had a hug from anyone in a long time.
Tai:...............I love you, Sora.
Sora: *As she's leaning against Tai, her eyes widen and thinks* Do I love you, Tai?
Matt: *Thinks* First Joe, then Sora, and now you, Tai!! I've been betrayed by everyone
I care for!!! *turns tail and runs off*

(After all this spying done by Matt and Sora, unknown to anyone else, the entire
scene was spotted by Jun)
Jun: Tai that )*&^(^%. I'll get you Matt for swinging Sora into MY Tai's arms.
I liked you before, Matt. But this is the last straw, you broke my heart once and
now you did it again!!
Davis: No Jun, you just chose the wrong people to deal with.
Jun: *Turns around in surprise* Davis!! What are you doing here?
Davis: I should be asking you the same thing. Don't medal with their lives, Jun.
Jun: And what do you know?
Davis: A lot more than you do!
Jun: THAT'S IT!! Matt will pay for all this!!! *Stomps off*
Davis: *Looks up into the sky* Becareful guys. *Sees Kari's face in the clouds* I love
you Kari....

(Back at the school)
Kari: *Hugs TK* TK!! You came to pick me up!! You're so sweet!
TK: *confused* I did? OH! Ya, I did! *smiles* Let's go to my place.

(At the Ishida residence)
Kari: I thought you lived with your mom, TK.
TK: I do, but she's out today so I get to go over to Matt's.
Kari: 'kay
(They open the door)
TK: *Gasp* The house is a mess!
Kari: *Laughs* Is this what you mean about messy?
TK: No!! This is worse! Matt would never let that house get THIS messy.
Kari: Then what happened?
TK: I don't know. *shouts into the house* MATT!! ARE YOU HOME!?!?
Kari: I thinks those are his shoes, so he must be home.
(Both go to Matt's room)
TK: It's so dark.
Voice: mmmmm.....
Kari: There's someone in there!
TK: *Blocks Kari with one hand to protect her* Who's in here?
Voice:..... mmmmmm
TK: *With his other arm, turns on the light*
Kari: *Eyes widen* It's Matt!
(Both run to his side)
TK: Matt! Are you ok??
Matt: *mumbles something*
Kari: *Feels his head* He's burning up!!
TK: Gimme a thermometer!
Kari: *nods* Here. *hands a themometer to TK*
(After a minute)
TK: It's gone above 40 degrees Celcius!!
Kari: That's higher than 100 degeees farenheit!!
TK: We have to get him to a hospital!
Kari: I'm way ahead of you. *On the phone* Hi, this is an emergency...

(In the hospital)
(Matt is in the hospital bed surrounded by Izzy, Cody, Yolei, Davis, TK, Kari, Ken and
a billion of beeping machines)
Matt: *Eyes open a little* *In a hoarse voice* Where am I?
TK: You're in the hospital. I found you at some REALLY sick. When we got you here,
the doctor says that you got worse.
Kari: You'll be ok.
Izzy: I'm sure the doctors will do anything they can.
Ken: *Holding Yolei* Ya, if they don't the Digimon Kaiser is coming back.
Yolei: *Laughs* Stop kidding around Kenny. ^_~;
Ken: *blushes* Ok.
Matt: *Smiles a little and looks around* *Then his smile fades as he sees no sign
of Mimi, Joe, Sora or Tai* Where are the others?
Cody: We couldn't contact them. We have no idea where they are.
Matt: *Closes his eyes and thinks* I wouldn't want you guys to know what's happening between
us. Sora is with Tai and Mimi is.....
TK: Hey what's happening? That machine is acting weird.
Doctor: *walks in* And how is our patient? *looks at the monitor of one of the machines* *GASP!*
Oh my god!! I have never seen a patient drop like this so fast!
TK: *panicing* What's wrong? Doctor! What happened?
Doctor: One moment.
(After 2 minutes)
Doctor: He's getting worse a worse really quickly. He's not sick because of an illness, it's
mental and emotional damage!
Kari: What can we do?
Doctor: *Sadly* Nothing, you'll have to wait and let him come out of this by himself. But at
this rate, I can't even save him.
Kari: No. *Turns to TK and cries in his arms*
TK: It's ok.
Davis: *Watching them* ......
Mimi: *Running in* I just go the message on my cell phone, is he ok?
Doctor: *looks at Mimi sadly and walks out the door* I'll go see if I can get him anything.
Mimi: ... What happened?
Digidestined: *look at her sadly*
TK: His condition is getting worse.
Mimi: *thinks* It's because of me... I'm sorry Matt. *Walks beside Matt's bed*
Kari: I think it's best if we leave him alone right now.
TK: *nods* Ya.
(As they leave, Mimi puts her hand on his face)
Mimi:... I love you Matt. Don't leave me. *She cries and a little droplet from her eyes lands on
Matt cheek, waking him*
Matt: *Opens eyes slowly* Mimi.. *smiles weakly* .... you came...
Mimi: *nods* Ya.. I did.
Matt: Where's Joe?
Mimi: Still in Hawaii... *smiles* Still trying to get a tan.
Matt: ......
Mimi: What's wrong?
Matt: I- I saw- ..... nothing.. *turns head away from Mimi*
Mimi: Tell me what happened.
Matt: I saw Sora and Tai....
Mimi: *nods* Alright, I understand. *kisses his cheek and walks out the door*

(A few minutes later)
Doctor: Wow!! These statistics are amazing. He's getting better!! I'm sure just another day here and he'll
be as good as new!!
Digidestined: Wow! Yay!! *All cheer*

(That night a mysterious figure walks into Matt's hospital room)
Voice: You'll pay Yamato, you'll pay.
Matt: *wakes up a little*
Voice: Good bye. *Cuts the pipes*
Machine: *beep* *beep* *beeeeeeeeeeeep*.........

(Next morning at the Takashi residence)
Phone: *brrrrring* *brrrring*
TK: Hello?
Voice: Hi, is this the Takashi residence?
TK: Yes, this is TK speaking.
Voice: I'd like to speak to you're mother if that's ok.
TK: I'm sorry but she's very busy right now, can I take a message?
Voice: *hesitant* I guess so. Are you Yamato Ishida's brother?
TK: Yes I am. What is it.
Voice: This is Matt's doctor at Odiba Hospital.
TK: Yes?
Voice: Yamato Ishida is declared dead this morning at 7:00am
TK: *freezes* *drops pen* W-w-what?
Voice: I'm very sorry. You must be in shock. But it's very important you get this message to you mother
right away.
TK: I-I-I will.
Voice: Thank you. Good Bye.
TK: B-bye..... *hangs up* *falls down onto the couch* Matt is.... is... dead????

(At the Kamiya residence)
Phone: *Briiiinnnnng*
Tai: *Rolls over in his bed and smacks his head*
Tai and Sora: OW!
Sora: *Gets up* WHAT THE! IT'S MORNING!
Oh my god. I better get home. Matt's probably wondering where I am.
Tai: I'll get the phone. *Into the phone* Hello?
Sora: *Combs her hair*
Tai: Yes, this is Tai. ...... WHAT!?!?!?
Sora: *looks over at Tai*
Tai: But. That can't be true!! No!! Stop making stuff up TK!!
Sora: What is it?
Tai: *Slams the phone down* Stupid TK.
Sora: Tai? *Hugz him* What's wrong?
Tai: *pushes Sora away a little*
Sora: ? ..... Tai?
Tai: ... TK just called. He said that-
Sora: .......
Tai: Yesterday, Matt landed in the hospital with a really high fever. He got really bad and then when the doctors
thought they couldn't save him, he began to recover.
Sora: That's great!!
Tai: *Shakes head* This morning, TK got a phone call from the hospital.
Sora: What was wrong?
Tai: ....... Matt.... Matt.... *Tears stinging his eyes* Matt is dead.
Sora: *Laughing* You're kidding right? Very funny Tai.
Tai: ... you better leave.
Sora: What? .... you're not kidding are you? Then that means that Matt is really-
Tai: JUST GO!
Sora: *Feeling hurt* I-
Tai: Just leave, Sora. We've cause too much damage already.
Sora: I-
Tai: GO!
Sora: *Walks out the door*
Tai:...... this is too much damage. Matt, we were best friends. And I betrayed him.....

(Walking towards the Odiba Hospital)
Sora: ..... he's really dead. I can't believe it. I feel so bad. I- *road becomes blurry*
Matt..... Tai..... *falls to the ground*

(Out side Matt's hospital room)
Mimi: He was getting better right after I came to see him. He loved me and I loved him. I wonder what happened?
Doctor: *comes out of the room* Apparently, Matt didn't die of natural causes. He was murdered.
Digidestined: WHAT?!?!
Doctor: The pipes were cut. Someone deliberatly did it.
Mimi: *Sob* Who would do such a thing?
Davis: *Runs off*
TK: *Noticed Davis running off* Hmm....
Mimi: It was my fault, I shouldn't have visit him. I- *faints*
All: MIMI!!!

(That evening)
Sora: Mmmmmm.... *Opens eyes* Where am I? *Looks around the room*
(All the digidestined were there except for Davis*
Tai: *Looking extremely worried* Are you alright?
(On the other side of the room, in another hospital bed, Mimi layed there serenely with Joe at her side)
Joe: *Burying his face in her hand* I shouldn't have let you leave without me. That was so irresponsible
of me. Please forgive me, Mimi.
Doctor: *Comes in with a sad smile* Sora'll be fine. However Mimi's taking it harder. I don't know
when she'll be back to normal. She must've loved Yamato a lot.
Joe:... What did you say?
Doctor: I'm not a psycologist but if Mimi got this sick for Yamato, it must've meant something.
Joe: .... *Looks from the doctor back to Mimi and thinks* Why didn't I see it before? I was so stupid!!
he never loved me. Oh Mimi, I'm so sorry I made you go on with me.
Sora:....Joe....
Joe: *Stands up* Let me be... *walks out the door*
Tai: I'll go after him. I'll be back tomorrow with warm chicken soup for you.
Sora: Thanks Tai.

(That night)
Voice: I'm gonna get you. Sora. Mimi. I'm coming. *Sing song voice* Sora took Tai and Mimi took Matt,
and now I'm gonna take their lives.
(The figure walked in between Sora and Mimi's bed. The shadow pulled out a knife, ready to cut the pipes,
when both Mimi and Sora awoke)
Sora: Who are you!
Voice: You're killer.
Mimi: *Gasp*
Voice: *Puts the knife up to the pipes*
Sora and Mimi: *Still strapped in their beds* NOOOOO!!!!!!
(As the figure is about to slice the pipes, another person stabs him/her)
Sora: *Watches as their killer falls to the ground. Dead.*
Mimi: *Gasps when she sees who stabbed the killer* Davis!!
Davis: I'm sorry. That's my sister. *Kicks the body on the ground* She dead.
Sora: Why?
Davis: She got way out of control. *Takes out a picture of Kari* I'm so sorry.
Mimi: I still feel really sick.
Sora: What's that you're holding, Davis?
Davis: A picture of the one I love. I will never be with her. My life is as good as over.
Mimi: NO DAVIS!
(Both girls watch in horror as Davis raises his knife and slices his own neck)
Davis: I love you Kari...
(Kari and TK run in)
Kari: DAVIS!!!!!
Davis: *Dead*......
Kari: *Running to his side and shaking him* Davis! No! Come back! Don't leave us!
Sora and Mimi: *In shock*
Mimi: How did you guys get here?
TK: We found a note at Davis' house for his family. It said that he was going to stop Jun from doing
something terrible. He talked about.... about....
Kari:... about how he loved me and after he killed his sister, he'd end his own life.
TK: We tried to get here as fast as we could but..
Kari: *Cradling and hugging the dead Davis*.... but it was to late. *Crying* I should be the
one that's sorry, Davis.....

(As Kari is mourning over Davis, the two girls and TK, watching in sadness. Unknown to them,
someone else was watching. On the table between Sora and Mimi's hospital bed, was
a picture of Matt and real tears were running down the picture and onto the table. Even after
life, Yamato Ishida will always be in our hearts and souls.)
