|
The Ivy Gourmet Club is a group of Ivy foodies who get
together to try different
restaurants. Our mission is to experience many diverse cuisines in
neighborhoods all around the San Francisco Bay Area, while providing a fun and
relaxing environment for Ivy alumni to meet and socialize.
Come discover new restaurants,
sample different cuisines, and meet interesting people for
scintillating conversation.

Guidelines
- Each month a restaurant is picked from suggestions by the club members. The member nominating the restaurant is responsible for coordinating that dinner: making reservations with the restaurant, sending notifications with directions and cost estimates, sending reminders, and noting who attends. It is not required that the nominator have eaten at the restaurant. To nominate a restaurant, please email [email protected].
- The food bill is split evenly among all diners. Drinks are calculated separately, based on each member's consumption.
- Reservations are on the honor system. If a member cannot attend a dinner he/she has signed up for, the reservation must be cancelled 24 hours in advance. No-shows (including people who cancel fewer than 24 hours in advance) are automatically bumped to the waiting list for subsequent events (exceptions made for waiting list people who had fewer than 48 hours notice of being added to the list).
- There are no limits to the price range (either upper or lower). We will attempt to cover a diverse range of restaurants in terms of price, ethnicity, and location. The notification of the dinner should include an estimate of the cost of the dinner. Remember that these are only estimates, and actual costs may vary.
Our policies are subject to change as the club evolves.
