After a hugely successful fair
last year, the Ivy Alliance is pleased to invite you to our Second Annual Ivy Alliance Community Service Fair
on Tuesday, August 19 from 7 - 9 pm in San Francisco. Here is your chance to meet San Francisco and East Bay
non-profits looking for volunteers and board members. In addition, Jan
Masaoka, Executive Director of CompassPoint, will be speaking about
"Building a Civic Career," tentatively scheduled for 7:30 pm.
Confirmed organizations include Urban Services YMCA, Junior Achievement of the Bay Area, Inc., March of Dimes, Larkin Street Youth Services, Special Olympics Northern California, American Red Cross, Berkeley Meals on Wheels / North Berkeley Senior Center and event sponsor VolunteerMatch. See the complete list of participating organizations here. There will be drop-off boxes at the fair for unwanted mobile phones and eyeglasses for donation. This will be an excellent opportunity to find out how you can impact your local community, meet other like-minded successful alumni and have fun.
