| Every religion has its own belief, in what happens after you die, The one thing that is kept in common is that the soul does leave the body, and moves on, either into a kingdom, or into a new incarnation. In Celtic, there are 3 worlds. Gwynvyd-the upperworld Abred-This world Annwn-The underworld. The upper world is the Gods and Goddesses of celestial bodies, and mythical creatures, and even some humans that have progressed to the of the highest plane of the spirit. The middleworld is in which the place we exist, also the gods and goddesses of nature. The underworld is the realm of all shadows, stagnation and rebirth, this is where the underworld deities preside. The name Otherworld is just a compressed for upper and underworlds. Unfortunately, the Celts never documented a bible, or a Torah, so there is still not much known about the Otherworlds, what is known is offered by Lmmrama "mystic voyages". According to the ancient Celts, for everyone it looks diffrent, and as you go thru life, what you put out, you will get back, be it good or bad in the otherworld, it was once said that in this plane, where the black goes, it turns white, where the white goes it turns back, it is the ultimate neutral. The Celts didn't believe in reincarnation, but the believed in a rebirth. They believed in an immortality either thru living out ones after life through the otherworld, or being restored to life through the magical cauldron of plenty. With this, any human can be ranked a god or a goddess. It is said that it is easiest to find the Otherworld thru Samhain. At this point in the year, the spirits including all Animal spirit guides and humans are able to move freely |
