| The Holiday Lighting Spectacular welcomes the holiday season to the Island with lots of festivity and excitement. Favorite holiday tunes will be sung by the Houston Children's Chorus and other chorale groups and performers, including Island favorites Angelo Tolentino and Nina Kay. |
| Children of all ages will enjoy the petting zoo complete with reindeer on the lawn just west of the San Luis prior to the ceremony. |
| Thousands of dazzling lights and pyrotechnics will iluminate the sky, while Santa and Mrs. Claus make a surprise visit to the Island. Magic tricks will keep everyone spellbound as our special guests help with the lighting. The public is invited to join carolers, bands, bell-ringers and more for this official kickoff of the holiday season in Galveston. |
