Oil Pastel Landscapes
Oil pastels are a cross between dry pastels and Oil Colors. Working them is rather like drawing with lipstick, only you have many colors to select.  they blend like oil paint, only you don't use brushes or thinning medium.  It's a challange to use them, but I like the results. Here is a southern  California coastal landscape,in an area South of Los Angeles, called El Morrow.
