Where did the month go? July is half gone. Here is a redo for my blog readers only! Lots of wonderfull detail here, so enjoy till my next posting.
So, whats new? I have been giving it a lot of thought.
I love the body of my work and have up till now, amassed a vast collection. The problem is, none of it is truly legitimate!
I have used models found on the internet; public domain, and I've altered them to make my pictures, but I can not truly offer them as my own creations. There have been no documents signed, and no releases. Thus far, there has also been no money made from my Artwork. If I wanted to start selling my work, my solution would be to start hiring models of my own, get them to sign a release, and then my works would be legit.
Of course this creates difficulties all around. I would have to pay my models, and furthermore, get the consent of the parents. As an artist, there are ways, but financially I couldn't really afford even one session, I don't really know how to work out the royalties aspect of this either.
