| Despite some sceptical reactions when he was transfered from rivals Standard de Li�ge, Ivica soon won the hearts of most RSCA fans. His playing style is quite different from the more technical and spectacular football that Anderlecht supporters prefer. But the fact that he always gives himself for 200 %, made him very popular with the Brussels crowd. Unfortunately Ivica often had to be "prepared" for encounters : a chronical knee injury caused him a lot of pain! Analysis in his homeland Croatia brought some bettership, so Moka could still play until the end of the season. Ivica was hopeful that the injury could heal by the natural way, but an operation was ineventable. Mornar should be 100% fit again when the preparations for the new competition will start. Another negative point : Moka was (once again) not included in the Croatian squad who'll participate at the final stages of a big tournament ( this summers World Cup in Japan and South-Korea). However, his non-selection seems to be unfair : even when he was fully fit, Moka did not get a chance from Jozic... |
