| As most of you know, I've been off work for 2 weeks. The Doc. has let me go back to the job as this coming Wed. A.M. I think it should have been sooner but who knows. I do know that the young man has put me back together & I feel better than I have for quite some time. O.K. maybe he knows best, anyway there wasn't a damn thing that I could have done to make it sooner. I was was under his care & he had the last word. |

| Over these past 2 weeks I've become a bigger "web whore" than usual, scibing photos that interest me off of the net. I've also had quite alot of time to think & reflect on life. I've come to believe that no matter what you do, from time to time things will go wrong. But you won't be alone. There will always be someone there telling you that it was all your fault & that you should have expected such an outcome. |

| The summer will be over shortly. I've had a good summer. I've Skydived less & spent more time at home or out with Cynthia. We've had a good time. One "unpleasantness" after the planes were tied down, that had nothing to do with Skydiving, cured me of being addicted to a DZ. Wow, a few months ago I'd never have thought such a turn of events could have come to pass, but it did. I'm not sorry & I'm not glad about it. I'm just aware that Skydiving is my sport, not my life. I have no plans to quit the sport, nor do I have plans not to jump at any particular DZ. Quite the contrary, I plan to jump at more DZs. I see myself as a consumer of those places that offer Skydiving as a service. |
| I like Skydiving & Skydivers. I like the" grab all of life that you can before the put you in a box" mind set that many Skydivers have. |
| I don't know where the above jump came off. I've been on jumps like it though. It starts as a "belly flying" 3-way. Then one of the guys swings under & goes to a stand. There you have it 3 guys falling through the same square feet that 2 guys should be falling through add to that the arrowhhead shape of the 3-way & the thing really moves fast, for someone like me that is. |
