The Carnivals were originated in Europe (Greece). In the Puerto Rican Carnival is noticeable a contribution of different cultures. It exist the Carnival of the wealthy and the public. The public is the most popular one. There are only a few towns that continue the tradition these are: San Juan, Hatillo, Lo�za Aldea, and Ponce. El Carnaval se origin� en Europa (Grecia). En el Carnaval celebrado en Puerto Rico se distingue una contribuci�n de diferentes culturas. Existe el Carnaval opulente de las clases m�s adineradas y el del pueblo. El del pueblo es el m�s popular. Solamente hay unos pueblos en que �ste se celebra y ellos son: San Juan, Hatillo, Lo�za Aldea y Ponce. En cada uno de estos pueblos var�a la celebraci�n.
