...tragedy...

nobody sees
me as i float silently
down the never ending passage
of a life once mine
nobody sees me as i weep behind blind eyes
as i howl behind sealed lips

nobody sees
me - i am alone
a free spirit, yet trapped
in this ocean of consciousness
i float over people i knew
those i loved who dont remember
one more tortured soul

drifting on
the tide of this mortal world
i am the shadow of a lonely child
long forgotten, left in the wasteground
of someone else's memory
