Overall, the cruise up the Nile was wonderful! And the timing was perfect. The first half of our trip had been relatively busy, and the cruise gave us (or me, at any rate) a chance to kick back, relax, and catch our breath! It was great to sit up on the (covered) deck and watch life on the banks of the Nile, as we slowly made our way north to Luxor. We spent our first night in Luxor aboard the Amy, before transfering to the Phillipe Hotel the next day.
