Edward was born in England. His parents brought him to Monaco when he was only a few weeks old. Educated in Monaco until he was 10 he later attended Sedbergh public school in the North of England. Upon leaving school he studied archaeology and later freelance journalism. His first real job was working on an archaeological site in Belize, South America. Recently Edward has been working in a variety of jobs in the restaurant business in Monaco. He obtained his private pilot's licence and continues to fly on a regular basis. He is also a keen scuba diver and instructs diving at the scuba club in Monaco. Edward enjoys many watersports as well as tennis, squash, snowboarding, rugby and basketball.

He obtained the baccalaureate at the European School of Varese, Italy, and then moved to the French Riviera to pursue law studies during the day and busking in the streets of Nice at night.
