Biography



Ivan Heylen was born on February 8, 1946. Just after World War II, under the sign of Aquarius. He spent his childhood in a real 'workers' family in the country. It was taken for granted that he would follow the same track, but as a child he saw himself as a poet and a writer. He was keen on nature and animals in particular. He finished

1955 - 1959 Graduated from music school specializing in banjo, accordion and bugle.
1962 Founder and solo guitarist of the rock 'n roll group The Blue Jeans.
1964 Bandleader of The Doolies.
1968 Released singles Maria De Spaanse Danseres and De Steenkool.

1977 Released the LP Liefde.

1985 Show on Belgian TV channel BRTN Op zoek naar België. HIGHEST TV RATINGS OF THE YEAR. Release of the singles J'aime bien ma Flandre and Rock 'n Roll.

He felt he was growing in unity with the Earth. It was this that inspired him to write a book about the deepest meaning of our being, about the purpose towards which all people are striving, intuitively or consciously Cosmic Orgasm. 1998 Executive Producer, Director and Scenario of the film De Wilde Boerndochtere with Eddy Planckert, Brigitta Callens (Miss Belgium 99) and Iris Vandekerckhove.
1999 Publication of the romantic novel De Wilde Boerendochter. Recording of single Hey'men in collaboration with André Brasseur. Scenario of cartoon strip De Schizofrene familie Schiemozzle. 18 weeks in the Top 3 of the Belgian hit parade with D. J. Da Rick. Executive Producer, Director and Scenario of the international TV series Monaco Blue.
2000 Scenario of 26 episodes of Monaco Blue.
