I grew up in Austin, Texas, and I attended school there from elementary to high school, graduating from S.F. Austin High in 1986. I went to college at the University of California at Berkeley and the University of York in England. In 1992 I graduated from the University of Texas School of Law, and have been licensed by the State Bar of Texas since May, 1993. I have been working as a private practice attorney in Hays County and surrounding counties (Bexar, Caldwell, Comal, Guadalupe, and Travis) since 1999. Prior to entering private practice I was an Assistant Attorney General in the Child Support Division, and a Committee Counsel and General Counsel at the Texas House of Representatives. I typically handle family law cases such as divorce, child support and custody, and criminal cases such as DWI, drug possession, and other misdemeanors. I also prepare wills.
