Ivan Siller was born in Bojnice and he started attending the primary Music School in Prievidza ( Slovakia) After moving to Bratislava in 1986 he got to the piano class of M.Kailingova.In 1995 he graduated high school at Bratislava and the same time he graduated the second degree of Primary Music school of L. Rajter in Bratislava. In this period of his life he mainly concentrated on the chamber music , together with the pianist L. Balintova they created a duo which won the state - wide competition of chamber groupings and in 1995 they took part in the concert tour in France. In 1996 he continued playing with M. Kailingova and at the same time he studied privately with D. Buranovsky at the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (AMDA) in Bratislava. Nowadays he studies in the class of doc. D. Varinska.
During these studies he played several concerts as at home as well as abroad. He played in most of the cities in Slovakia and as well in Prague, Budapest, Vienna, London etc. He won the piano competition of P. Kadosa in Levice and took part in the international piano competition EMCY in Dublin, Ireland .In the year 1995-1996 he created his own cycle of chamebr music concerts especially for young people.In the 1996 he got a price of Ministry of Education of Slovak republic for his musical activities (plaquette of St. Gorazd). In the years 1995- 1996 he participated in masterclasses of M. Lapsansky , P. Topercer, and E. Indjic.In the years 2000- 2003 studied at the Royal Conservatory Gent piano with D. Vandewalle . He graduated his studies with the greatest degree and continue studying his postgraduated .
