Soldier

The soldier is a dedicated warrior, one who lives and dies by his knowledge of and experience with weapons, fighting styles, combat strategies, and battlefield tactics.  Soldiers have existed in every period of history and are known to every culture in the world -- and modern Færith is no exception.  All that has changed are the soldier's weapons of war, which now include firearms, explosives, and other products of high technology.

Class Features

All of the following are class features of the soldier:

Starting Feats: A soldier begins with Simple Weapons Proficiency, Martial Weapon Proficiency (all weapons), Personal Firearms Proficiency, Light Armor Proficiency, Medium Armor Proficiency, Heavy Armor Proficiency, Shield Proficiency, and Tower Shield Proficiency.

Bonus Feats:
At 1st level, a soldier gets a bonus combat-oriented feat in addition to the feat that any 1st-level character gets and the bonus feat granted to a human character. The soldier gains an additional bonus feat at 2nd level and every two soldier levels thereafter (4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th, 18th, and 20th). These bonus feats must be drawn from the feats noted as fighter bonus feats, plus the following: Advanced Firearms Proficiency, Advanced Unarmed Strike, Agile Riposte, Aircraft Operation, Burst-Fire, Combat Throw, Dead Aim, Defensive Stance, Double-Tap, Drive-By Attack, Elusive Target, Exotic Firearm Proficiency, Force Stop, Greater Unarmed Strike, Heroic Surge, Improved Combat Throw, Improved Damage Threshold, Power Critical, Quick Reload, Skip Shot, Strafe, Surface Vehicle Operation, Unbalance Opponent, Vehicle Dodge, and Vehicle Expert,. A soldier must still meet all prerequisites for a bonus feat, including ability score and base attack bonus minimums.

These bonus feats are in addition to the feat that a character of any class gets from advancing levels. A soldier is not limited to the list of soldier bonus feats when choosing these feats.
