Hi my name is Gerardo Ivan Peña. I am from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. I love many forms of art. Art is one of my hoobies so to say. I admire the Japanese style cartoons better known as Anime, and I've been trying to draw in that style for the past 5 or so many years. Some of my favorite anime series are Saint Seiya, Neon Genesis, Trigun, Cowboy Beebop, Initial D and many more. Initial D is one of my favorites since it's about street racing (the Japanese way)or Drifting. Drifting is the art of driving sideways or better known as mountain racing, since Japan is full of mountains, drivers need the skills to master the corners going uphill and downhill as you can see on the background image. Anyways my inspiration to art is my uncle who's also my godfather. He showed me how to draw when I was a young little kid (THANK YOU UNCLE JAIME) (GRACIAS PADRINO!). |
