On Why I Will Continue Writing Fanfiction:

1. The Show's Over. So what? There's still the well-built, most intriguing and fun-to-write characters under the sun out there, just waiting for me to manipulate them to my will. I can keep writing stuff long after they're gone.

2. Plot Bunnies. Those cute little hippity-hops will continue to wriggle into my brain long after the show's been canceled. I'll keep thinking, "Ooh, what if I put Spike ____, and made him do ____?" It's a great way to flex my creative muscle.

3. I Have Nothing Better to Do. Literally, my social life is beyond boring, so I figure I can have my fun writing about characters that don't exist in a town that doesn't exist either.

4. It's Better Than Writing College Essays. Which would you rather write, an analytical paper discussing the mating cycle of gnats, or a hot, juicy smut scene? Thought so.

5. If Spike Doesn't Get Redeemed... Then I want to be the person to redeem his character through stories. Hopefully the Shanshu prophecy will be fulfilled through him, but you really never know.
