On October 21, 2000, my high school's chemistry teacher, Mr. Stephen Brack, was tragically killed in a car accident. He was only 29-years-old. This poem was written by me and is dedicated to him.
We Hate to See You Go

I don't know how you did it
And I don't know what to say.
You somehow touched all of our lives;
We'll miss you every day.

Bracko, you were the greatest!
You were so cool to know.
We will learn life will go on.
We hate to see you go.

Sometimes we can't explain
Why things happen when they do,
But we never will forget
The "little kid" inside of you.

It wasn't fair what happened
Because you were such an awesome guy;
But, now you will have to watch us grow
From way up in the sky.

Chemistry will never
Ever be the same,
But you will never leave our hearts,
We'll never forget your name.

We know that you loved tennis,
And we know that every day
You get up extra early
To show the other angels how to play.

Mr. Brack you touched so many lives;
Far more than you know.
This hurts us all so much.
We hate to see you go.

You will always be remembered
Until the very end.
You weren't just a teacher,
You were a companion and a friend.

Bracko, even though it's been 4 years, we still haven't forgotten you. Indiana_brack
