After an hour of waiting in anticipation. The plane was ready to be boarded.

“You come back before April 6th you have to go to the AMA Awards,” Walker told Taylor hugging him goodbye.

“You tell her we all miss her!” Zac said hugging his brother.

Taylor finally boarded the plane after saying goodbye to everyone.

Being in New York for a couple of weeks Elexis met a couple of nice people at her school. She was still quiet though.

On the plane Taylor thought about what he wanted to tell Lexi.

After the two hours of flying, the plane finally landed in Brooklyn, New York. The weather was fairly warm with a little wind. Taylor put on his hat and sunglasses and exited the plane with the other passengers.

He made it through the airport without anyone noticing who he was. When he reached the outside, he took out Lexi’s address from his pocket.

“Can you tell me where Bellville Rd. is?” Taylor asked a local Police man who was standing nearby.

“Yeah, it is 5 streets south, turn right on Lupton Ave, go two blocks and there you should find Bellville Rd then go left.”

“Thank you sir”

“Before you go can I have an autograph for my daughter?”

“Yeah Sure!” Taylor said signing a piece of paper for the cop.

Taylor then found himself walking down Lupton Ave.

“Well here is Bellville Rd.” Taylor thought. “He said turn left right?” He said to himself.

Taylor held Lexi’s address in his hand and walked down Bellville Rd. He noticed that the addresses on the houses going up. He then found himself standing in front of the house with the address 844 Bellville Rd. As Taylor walked towards the house, Elexis was in her room on the phone with Tristin.

“Yeah, New York is okay, but I'd rather be in Tulsa.” Lexi’s said to Tristin.

“Maybe I could come to visit you for Spring Break.” Tristin said.

“Yeah that would be cool! Oh Tristin I have to go someone is at my front door.”

“Bye”

“Bye”

Elexis slowly ran down the long stairway to the front door. She yelled “who is it?” But she got no response.

She swung the door open.

“Taylor!” She yelled as she hugged Taylor in surprise.

“Come in! Oh my god what are you doing here?”

“My parents sent me to New York to see you! And I am so happy to be here!”

They sat down on the couch.

“Can you do me one thing?” Taylor asked Lexi.

“Yeah, anything!”

“Kiss me!”

Without any warning Lexi’s lips were gently against Taylor’s. Taylor slowly ran his fingers through Lexi’s hair.

“I’ve missed you!” Elexis said. “Where are you staying?”

“Well... I haven’t thought that far.” He laughed.

“I insist you stay in my hotel and you can stay in the best room, Lexi’s Room!” She jokingly replied.

“Shouldn’t you ask you mom?”

“My mom is gonna be up state for a few days. How long are you staying?”

“Till you get sick of me or before April 6th.”

“I’m so glad you’re here!” Lexi stated

They held each other for a few minutes till Taylor’s stomach started making noises.

“You hungry?” Lexi asked

“I’m starved.” Taylor said holding his stomach.

“Then I’ll start dinner, is pasta good?”

“Yeah, sounds greats. Where is the bathroom?”

“There is one down that hall and one up stairs.”

“Is there a certain one I have to use or not use?”

“No they both work.”

Taylor got up and walked down the hall and basically ran to the bathroom to relieve himself. Lexi started cooking the pasta when Taylor walked back to the kitchen.

“So what have you been up to here in the big apple?”

“Well...not much.”

“How is school?”

“Oh man it is so different from back home!”

“Really like how?”

“There’s more diversity! I have only befriended a couple of people. It is weird meeting new people.”

“You miss Tulsa don’t ya?”

“Like you wouldn’t believe.”

The timer went off on the oven and broke their conversation. Lexi took the pasta out of the oven and set it on the table. Taylor walked over behind Lexi and put his arms around her waist.

“Mmm...! That smells good.” Taylor said

“What do you want to drink? We have Pepsi, Orange Juice, or water in a bottle.” Lexi asked.

“Water’s fine.”

Lexi grabbed two waters out of the refrigerator. They both sat at the table and began to eat.

“I have to go to school in the morning, I won’t be back until 2:00pm.” Lexi said.

“That’s fine, I probably won’t get up till then.” he giggled.

Lexi started to yawn and then so did Taylor.

Taylor and Lexi got so caught up in talking they hardly noticed that it got late.

“I should go to bed.” Lexi said.

“Yeah so should I. Taylor replied.

“Do you have anything to sleep in?” Lexi asked as they both walked up the stairs to Lexi’s room.

“Not really, I can just sleep in my boxers but tomorrow I should really go buy some clothes.

Lexi grabbed her pajamas from her drawer.

“I’ll be right back, I have to go brush my teeth.” Lexi said walking out of her room.

When Lexi came back to her room she picked up Taylor’s clothes from the floor and sat them on the chair by her desk. She looked over at Taylor in her bed. He was fast asleep.

Lexi climbed under the blankets and just sat there looking at Taylor. She leaned over and softly kissed him on the forehead. “I love you.” she whispered as she laid down and fell asleep.

Lexi’s clock radio went off at 6:45am. She quickly got up without waking up sleeping beauty! Lexi got out her clothes. Then she went to the bathroom, took a shower and got ready for school. She walked downstairs and into the kitchen.

“Crap no Pop tarts!” Lexi said searching through the cupboards.

She walked over to the refrigerator and got a bagel and began to eat. She then sat down at the table with a glass of orange juice and began to drink it. A few minutes later she glanced at the clock and it read 7:35am.

Lexi got up from the table, put her glass in the sink and began to walk up the stairs. She slowly and quietly walked in her room, walked over to her desk and grabbed her backpack. She walked back out the bedroom door, down the stairs and out the front door. Lexi walked in through the school doors and was greeted by one of her new friends Ana.

“Hey there girl!” Ana said in a cheerful voice.

“Hey”

“Are you going to Brandon’s sleepover?” Ana asked.

“No, I never got invited.”

“Oh, well he will probably give you an invite at lunch or something, Later!” Ana said walking away.

Lexi walked down the hallway to her locker. She opened her locker door when her friend Brandon opened his locker (which was next to Lexi’s).

“Hey Lexi, I got an invitation for you!” Brandon said taking it out of his locker and handing it to Lexi.

“Thanks! Who’s all going?” Lexi asked putting the invitation in her pocket.

“Well I invited tons of people. I think you know some of them like Ana, Gabbie, Allie, Sabrina, Kris and Matt.”

“Cool! I’ll see if I can go.”

During first block Lexi started to look at her invitation that Brandon gave to her. The first word that she noticed was “co-ed”, The second thing she saw was “sleepover.”

“Hey are you going to Brandon’s party?” Lexi whispered to Ana, who was sitting next to her in class.

“Yeah! There’s gonna be no parents!” Ana replied with a smile.

Lexi then went back to doing her schoolwork. The bell rang and everyone went to their second block classes. When it was time for lunch, Lexi bought a 20 oz Dr. Pepper. She went and sat down at a table with her friends.

By this time it was 11:00am and Taylor finally rolled out of bed. He took a quick shower, then got dressed. Taylor decided to wonder around a little. He walked out the door and down the street. He remembered he had some loose change (and dollars) in his pocket when he saw a McDonalds and decided to get some breakfast. Taylor bought a sausage mcmuffin and an orange juice and sat down and ate.

When Taylor was done eating he got up from the table and started walking down the road a little further (but not to far for him to get lost).

“Well since I’m out, I might as well get some clothes.” Taylor thought to himself as he walked in to the store called ‘Nordstorm’.

Taylor went into the pants section of the store and looked through the selection. He finally found a pair of tight jeans and tried them on. As Taylor was looking through the shirt section a younger girl, around the age of 10, came up to him.

“Are you Taylor Hanson?” she asked in a squeaky voice.

“Depends, are you gonna scream?” Taylor jokingly replied.

“No silly” the fan giggles.

“Yeah I’m Taylor Hanson.”

“Would it be to much trouble if I could have your autograph?”

“It’s no trouble, of course you can have my autograph.”

The young fan took out a magazine she was carrying around from the store and flipped to a Hanson poster. Taylor signed the poster.

“Thank you!” the young girl said as she slowly walked away giggling.

Taylor just snickered and continued to look through the shirts.

Back at the school Lexi sat in her 3rd block class with her head down on her desk. Eventually 4th block rolled around. As the class was watching a movie Lexi fell asleep at her desk. After an hour the final bell rang but Lexi didn’t hear it. After most of the class departed the classroom, Brandon walked over to Lexi. “Lexi!” he said shaking her.

Lexi’s head popped up. “What happened?”

“You fell asleep! Class is over!”

“Oh, Oops!” Lexi said smiling.

Lexi got up from her desk and walked out of the classroom.

“Thanks for waking me up!” Lexi said to Brandon as they got into their lockers.

“No problem... So you gonna come to my party?”

“I’ll have to see what I’m doing first, but I’m sure I can make it.”

“Cool, do you want a ride home?”

“Sure”

Brandon drove Lexi to her house and dropped her off.

“Thanks for the ride.” Lexi said.

Brandon just smiled as Lexi got out of the car. “Bye”

When Lexi went in the front she yelled “I’m home!” But she got no response.

She walked into the kitchen and grabbed a water from the refrigerator. She then walked through the living room, carrying her bag and walked up the stairs to her room.

She walked in her room expecting to see Taylor but just found an empty room. She laid her bag down on the desk and sat down in the desk chair. She took out her invitation she got from Brandon and started looking over it. Many thoughts ran through Lexi’s mind at that moment. “I wonder where Taylor is?” “Should I go to the party?” “What if something happens?” “Nothings gonna happen!”

Just then she heard the door open and shut.

“Lexi?” Taylor called out.

“I’m upstairs!”

Taylor walked up the stairs carrying stuff in his hands.

“Hey you! How was your day?” he said as he kissed Lexi’s, then he laid his things on the bed.

“It was okay. I got invited to a party.”

“That’s good when is it?”

“The weekend you leave.”

Taylor walked over to Lexi and leaned against the desk. “You’re gonna watch the AMA Awards aren’t you?”

“Yeah, If I do go I’ll make him turn the TV on so I can watch it.”

“Him?” Taylor asked curiously.

“Yeah, his name is Brandon. He is the one having the party.” Lexi replied she forgot to mention that it was a co-ed sleepover. “Where did you go today?” she asked changing the subject.

“I went shopping!” Taylor quickly answered. “Do you wanna see what I bought?”

“Yeah!”

Taylor walked over to the bed where his bag was at. He took out two pairs of blue jeans, a dark blue shirt and a red shirt, both were tight fitting. He also took out a black tank top with a black and gray over shirt.

“They look great! Tight just like I like.” Lexi jokingly giggled.

“Yeah I know!” Taylor smiled as he struck a pose.

Later that night around 6:30pm. Taylor and Lexi were watching a show that was going off.

Lexi’s stomach began to growl. “I’m getting hungry now.”

“Me too! Why don’t we go out to eat?”

“Okay sounds good but where?”

“I saw an Applebee’s up the road when I went shopping.”

“That place is expensive!”

“But you’re worth every penny and more!”

Lexi smiled and kissed Taylor softly. “Let me go grab my keys and we can go.” She ran up the stairs and soon she came back down with her keys in her pocket.

“Ready?” Taylor asked.

“Yup.” Lexi replied as they walked down the porch and down to the sidewalk.

“Aren’t you afraid of being recognized with me?” Lexi asked.

“Not at all!” Taylor answered squeezing Lexi’s hand a little more.

It was getting faintly dark but not enough to notice a big change. As they walked down the road, they finally got to Applebee’s.

“Are you sure you wanna go here?” Lexi asked.

“Yes” Taylor replied.

They went in through the door and walked up to the counter.

“Reservations for two.” Taylor said to the lady.

“Under what name?” the lady asked.

“Hanson” Taylor replied.

“Follow me please.” The lady said.

Taylor and Lexi followed the lady to the table for two by the window. Taylor pulled out a chair for Lexi to sit in. She did and then Taylor sat across from her. The lady put two menus on the table.

“You’re waiter will be with you shortly.” The waitress said and walked away.

“I didn’t know you made reservations.” Lexi said picking up a menu and looking through it.

“I thought of you when I was out today.” Taylor blushed.

“This is great, but how are we gonna pay got this?”

“Don’t worry about it, I got my dad’s credit card.” Taylor snickered.

Just then the waiter came over to the table. “Hello I will be your waiter tonight.”

The next day Taylor and Lexi after school Taylor and Lexi went shopping at a mall. A few fans went up to Taylor and asked him for his autograph, but not to many because he had a bucket hat on.

“Hey lets go in here.” Taylor said pointing to a store called ‘Shock Shack’.

While they were looking around a silver and baby blue hand held cell phone caught Lexi’s eye.

“What are you looking at?” Taylor asked her.

“That cell phone, right there.” she said pointing to the cell phone in the display case.

“Why don’t you get it?”

“It cost to much for me!” she replied.

They looked around the store a little more, then finally left that store. They walked down the hall more.

“Oh, we have to go into this store!” Lexi said pointing to a store called ‘Music Buzz!”

They walked into the store and it had music playing over head.

“Hey Tay, listen to the music.” Lexi said standing still next to Taylor.

Taylor stopped and started to listen to the music.

“It’s us!” Taylor said referring to the group ‘Hanson’.

They walked over to the CD singles on the side of the music store while they were looking at the singles, Lexi and Taylor started goofing around and singing the Hanson song. Someone from across the store yelled “Oh My God, It’s Taylor Hanson!!” In seconds there were about 20 or 30 teeny boppers surrounding Taylor. Lexi got pushed away by the fans, knocking her down to the floor.

“Are you alright?” a voice said.

Lexi turned he head to see a guy reaching his hand out to help her up.

“Fine, Thanks” she replied, taking his hand and standing up. “Excuse me, I think I need to sit down.” she added walking to a near by bench.

Lexi sat down on the bench and soon after so did the guy.

“Did you hurt yourself?” the guy asked her.

“Yeah, I twisted my ankle.” she replied looking up at Taylor who was still surrounded by the teeny boppers . ‘He’ll be awhile, a little chat won’t hurt’ Lexi thought to herself.

“I’m Lexi” she said holding her hand out.

“I’m Zander” he said shaking Lexi’s hand.

Lexi crossed her legs to look at her twisted ankle. She cautiously moved her sock down to look closer. Her ankle had already began to swell and turn black and blue.

“Ooh.. That looks bad!” Zander said about her ankle. “I hope it’s not broken!”

“Me too!” Lexi replied with a giggle.

“It was nice to meet you and I am sorry about your ankle. I got to go now.” Zander said as he got up.

“Hope to see you around!” Lexi said as he walked away.

Lexi looked up at Taylor and noticed a few security guards were trying to hold the teeny boppers back. Lexi stood up when Taylor looked at her. She started stumbling toward him and his fans. Taylor noticed her stumbling on a hurt foot and the pain on her face. He pushed his way through the fans and rushed over to Lexi.

“What happened?” Taylor questioned in a worried tone.

Just then a security guard walked over to them.

“Mr. Hanson sir, you need to get out of here before they surround you again!” he said.

“Is there anyway someone can drive us home? She’s hurt and she can’t walk.” Taylor asked.

“Yeah, come with me.” the security guard said.

“Come here.” Taylor said as he picked up Lexi and carried her in his arms.

He carried her and put her in the car. While they were in the car they talked.

“What happened?” Taylor asked Lexi.

“When they ran over to you, someone pushed me and I fell. I think I badly twisted my ankle.”

Do you need to go to the emergency room, to have it looked at?”

“No, it should be fine.”

When they stopped in front of Lexi’s house, Taylor hurried out of his door and insisted on helping Lexi into the house. Lexi limped on one foot and leaned on Taylor’s shoulder.

“Thanks for the ride.” Lexi said to the security guard.

Taylor and Lexi made their way into the house. When they were in the living room, Lexi dropped on to the couch. Taylor walked into the kitchen and got an ice pack out of the freezer. He walked back into the living room, sat down next to Lexi and put the ice pack on Lexi’s ankle.

“It should be fine tomorrow.” Lexi said putting a pillow under her foot to prop it up.

*Back in Tulsa*

“Isaac!...Isaac...!” Zac yelled running around the house looking for Isaac. “Isaac....Isaac!”

“What?” Isaac yelled coming from the basement.

Zac ran down the stairs ecstatically, carrying a piece of paper in one hand.

“I wrote a new song!” Zac yelled.

“Good for you.” Isaac said as he patted him on the head in a joking jester.

“No, read it.” Zac said shoving the piece of paper in Isaac’s face.

Isaac grabbed the piece of paper from Zac’s hands. He took it and sat down on the couch in the basement. He started reading it.

“Uh...I got it!” Isaac said as he got up.

Isaac grabbed his guitar and his pick and sat back down. He started strumming the guitar while singing the words that were on the piece of paper.

“This is great stuff Zac!” Isaac said looking over words of the song.

Just then the phone upstairs rang. Zac ran quickly up the stairs to the phone and picked it up.

“Hello?” Zac said

“Zac?” a man said.

“Hey!” Zac said to their music manager.

“How’s your short vacation?”

“Good. I just wrote a whole new song and Ike made some new music for it!” Zac answered.

“That’s great, you guys should be hitting the studio pretty soon.”

“I’ll have to call Tay tomorrow and talk to Ike to see when it will be a good time.”

“Sounds good. I’ll talk to you soon then.”

“We’ll call ya after we all talk.”

“Okay goodbye.”

“Goodbye!”

Zac walked back down the stairs to the basement.

“Who was that on the phone?” Isaac asked Zac when he got to the bottom of the steps.

“It was Rick (their music manager).”

“What did he want?”

“He said we should be hitting the studio soon! But what about Tay?”

“I guess we will have to call him.”

“We should wait a couple of days.”

Zac and Isaac went back to the music process.

*Back in New York*

While Lexi was lying on the couch with her foot propped up on a pillow. Taylor was looking in the kitchen for food.

“In haven’t went shopping for food this week.” Lexi said to Taylor.

“That’s cool, do you want me to order us some pizza?”

“Yeah, sure.”

Taylor picked up the phone and called the local pizza place. He ordered a large pizza and a two liter of Dr. Pepper.

“I am having them deliver it to the house.” Taylor said hanging up the phone.

“I have some money in my top drawer of my desk, in my room. You can go get it to use for the food.”

“Okay”

Taylor walked up the stairs and into Lexi’s room. He walked over to her desk and opened the top drawer. He saw the money and picked it up. After he picked it up he noticed a picture, it was the picture of him and Lexi sleeping in each other’s arms at Taylor’s house the night of Lexi’s birthday party. Taylor stood there starring at the picture with this very thought “This is the girl I wanna spend the rest of my life with.” His thoughts were soon interrupted by Lexi’s voice.

“Did you find it?” Lexi yelled from downstairs.

“Yeah!” Taylor yelled back.

Then he quickly put the picture back into the drawer and headed out of the room and down the stairs. When he got to the bottom of the stairs, someone knocked at the front door. Taylor opened it up to see the pizza man standing at the door. Taylor handed the man the money and the man handed Taylor the pizza and the pop.

Taylor shut the door and took the pizza and pop into the kitchen. Lexi got up from the couch and worked her way into the kitchen.

“I could’ve gotten your food for you!” Taylor said when he saw Lexi walking.

“That’s okay, I had to go to the bathroom anyway.” Lexi smiled.

Lexi picked a piece of pepperoni off her pizza and tapped Taylor on the shoulder. He turned around and Lexi picked up the pepperoni and slowly placed it into Taylor’s mouth, they both snickered.

“I’m so glad you came to New York to visit me!” Lexi stated.

“It just wasn’t the same without you!” Taylor said wrapping his arms around Lexi, “I want you to come home!” He said laying his head on her shoulder.

“I’ve thought about moving back after graduation!” Lexi said.

That statement shocked Taylor. He popped his head up really fast and replied “Really?”

“Yeah! I can go to college there or something. I could probably get my job back at Taco Bell.”

“I would love to have you back in walking distance! I’ve missed seeing you everyday!” Taylor said hugging Lexi and kissing her on the neck.

For the rest of that night, they ate pizza, talked and watched movies.

Lexi hopped into the first block class and sat down in her seat.

“What happened to you?” Ana and Brandon asked her.

“I was at the mall yesterday and sprained my ankle.” Lexi replied.

The class started and the teacher said to get their books out. When Lexi reached down to her bag that was on the floor the class room door opened.

“We have a new student with us class!” the teacher said.

Lexi didn’t pay any attention and wasn’t looking up.

“Class, this is Zander Freedmen!”

Lexi’s head popped up so fast she hit her head on her desk, and made a loud ‘thump!’

“Ouch!” Lexi said as she started laughing.

Everyone in the classroom also started laughing.

“Are you alright Miss Jordan?” the teacher asked her.

“Yeah!” Lexi blushed.

“Why don’t you take a seat Zander!”

There just happened to be an open seat in front of Lexi and that is exactly where Zander was headed.

He sat down and turned around to Lexi and said “Hey Lexi! How’s your ankle?”

“Fine Thanks! I didn’t know you were coming to this school.” Lexi whispered to Zander.

“I didn’t know you went to this school.” Zander replied.

While Lexi was at school Taylor went to the mall to go shopping. He pulled his hair back as much as he could and put a hat on. He saw the store “Shock Shack” that they went into the day before. He decided to go in it again. When Taylor was looking around the store he noticed the phone that Lexi said that she wanted to buy. Taylor decided he wanted to buy the phone for Lexi as a present and so they can talk to each other more.

A sales clerk noticed Taylor looking at the phone.

“May I help you sir?” The Lady said.

“Yeah, how much is this phone?” Taylor said pointing to the phone in the showcase window.

“$50 dollars.” she replied.

The sales clerk gave Taylor a paper that tells about the phone. It has no roaming charges and unlimited minutes.

“I’ll take it!” Taylor said.

The lady got a box for the phone in it and rang it up. Taylor gave her the credit card to pay for it.

“Thank you, I’ll just need a signature here please.” she said as she gave him the credit card back.

Taylor signed it and took the phone and left the store.

By this time it was lunch time for Lexi.

“How do you know Zander?” Brandon asked Lexi as they sat down at their lunch table.

“We met at the mall yesterday, he helped me up when I hurt my ankle.”

“Oh”

Just then Zander came over to the table and asked “Can I seat here?”

“Sure you can!” Lexi said

Zander sat down and they all ate their lunches.

“So Zander, where are you from?” Brandon asked.

“My dad and I moved here from Oklahoma.”

“No way! What part?” Lexi asked.

“Muskogee”

“Dude, I came from Tulsa! We came here because my mom’s job got relocated.”

“So did my dad’s.”

“Where does he work?”

“Universal Glow Agency”

“My mom works there!”

Both Lexi and Zander were surprised to know that they both had so much in common.

The five minute bell finally rang.

“We better get to class!” Brandon said to Lexi.

“Yeah! I’ll talk to you after school.” Lexi said to Zander.

“Okay”

Lexi and Brandon got up and went to class. Zander finally got up and went to his next class.

Taylor was still looking around in the mall for a little while. He finally left around 1:30pm and walked back to Lexi’s house.

When Lexi came home, Taylor was watching TV. When Taylor saw Lexi hop through the door, he jumped up to help her in.

“Thank you!” Lexi said.

“I got something for you!” Taylor said putting her bag on the stairs.

“What is it?”

“Let me go get it.” he said as he ran up the stairs.

He grabbed the box with the phone in it, he ran back down the stairs. He sat down on the couch next to Lexi. He gave her the box.

“Wow, its the phone I wanted!”

“Yeah, now we can talk more!” Taylor giggled.

“Thank you so much Taylor!” Lexi said as she gently kissed Taylor on the lips.

Taylor kissed Lexi back and that moment got passionate. Taylor was just about to lay Lexi back on the couch but was interrupted by the phone.

“Hello?” Taylor said after he answered the phone.

“Is Lexi there?”

“Just a second I’ll get her!”

“Lexi someone’s on the phone for you!” Taylor said handing her the phone.

“Hello?”

“Hey wazzup?”

“Nuttin much, you?” she asked Ana on the other line.

“Same, are you going to Brandon’s party this weekend?”

“Yeah most likely, are you?”

“Heck yeah! He always throws the best parties!” Ana stated.

“Can you give me his number? I have to ask him a question.”

“Sure!” she went on to tell her Brandon’s phone number.

“Thanks girl!”

“No problem! Talk to ya at school tomorrow!”

“Buh Bye!”

They hung up.

“Who was that?” Taylor asked.

“It was one of my new friends her name is Ana!”

“Cool!”

“Do you have the number to this phone you bought me?”

“Yeah, I wrote it down earlier!”

Taylor went on to tell Lexi on how to use the phone and all about the phone functions.

It got late and they were getting ready for bed. Lexi was laying in the bed when Taylor walked in. Taylor took all of his clothes off just leaving him in his boxers. He crawled into bed with Lexi. Taylor got under the blankets and started to snuggle with Lexi. He put his arms around her as they laid there. They fell asleep in each other’s arms.

The next morning Lexi’s ankle felt better, so she could walk on it better. As she was about to walk out the door to go to school, she spotted the cell phone sitting on the table. She walked over and picked it up. She turned the ringer off and put it on vibrate. She stuck it into her backpack and left for school.

Around 9:30am the phone rang.

“Hello?” Taylor said.

“Tay I got bad news!” Isaac stated.

“What is it Ike?”

“You have to come home today!”

“Why?”

“They said we need to get into the studio and we need to get ready for the AMA Awards.

Taylor just sat there on the other end not saying anything.

“You there?” Isaac asked.

“Yeah! I don’t want to leave Lexi! I’ll never see her again!!” Taylor pleaded.

“I’m sure you’ll see her again Tay. We need new music and the sooner we get more the better off we’ll be. Well... That’s what our manager said.”

Isaac went on to tell Taylor about his plane he needs to catch and when.

“I’ll have to call Lexi!” Taylor thought to himself after he hung up the phone with Isaac.

Taylor searched around his things and eventually found the number in his pocket.

First block went by and it is now second block. Lexi went to the bathroom and was now washing and drying her hands. She heard a funny noise coming from her backpack . She opened it up to find the phone was going off.

“Hello?” she said on the phone.

“Lexi!”

“Yeah”

Umm... I have some bad news.”

“What’s wrong Taylor?”

“Isaac just called and said that I have to go back to Oklahoma!”

“What?. When?”

“My plane leaves in an hour out of gate D8!”

Lexi could feel her heart sink low and her eyes began to swell with tears.

“I have to go pack now! I’ll call you later!”

“I love you Taylor!”

“I love you too!”

She hung up the phone and began to think ‘I have to get to the airport!! Who’s got a car? Zander!!’ She put the phone back in her bag and ran out of the bathroom. She went down the hallway and stopped at the door that Zander was in. Zander looked up and Lexi motioned for him to come out into the hallway.

“Mrs. Jay may I go to the bathroom?” Zander asked the teacher.

“Yes you may”

Zander grabbed his backpack and went out into the hallway.

“What’s wrong?” Zander asked her.

“You have a car right?” she asked ignoring her question.

“Yeah why?”

“I’ll explain later, but I need you to drive me to the airport!” she said as she grabbed his hand and ran down the hallway and out of the school doors.

Taylor just got done packing up all his things and was heading out the door to a cab that was waiting for him. He got in and was headed off to the airport.

While Lexi and Zander was driving to the airport Zander was full of questions.

“Why am I taking you to the airport?” Zander asked.

“Because I can trust you with my secret.”

“What secret?”

“You’ll see if we get to the airport on time!”

Taylor paid the cab driver and walked into the airport. He walked up to an information desk.

“Can you tell me where gate D8 is?” Taylor asked the lady behind the desk.

“You go down this hall” she said pointing “Then you’ll go down the first hall on the right, it’s at the end of that hallway.”

“Thank you” he said and began walking down the hallway.

While he was walking down the hallway he held his head down in sadness. He turned down the first hallway on the right.

“Turn right at this light!” Lexi said as she was telling Zander directions to the airport.

“Are we almost there?” Zander asked Lexi.

“Yeah, it’s just around the corner!” Lexi replied.

Taylor saw the gate he needed and sat down in a chair by the tunnel. Taylor looked around as he took his hat off to fix his hair. Then he put it back on. A lady walked up to Taylor and asked him for his autograph for her daughter. Of course he said “Yes” and gave her an autograph. After the lady left him, he rested his elbows on his knees and put his head in his hands.

“Are you gonna tell why I drove you to the airport?” Zander asked Lexi as they were getting out of the car.

Lexi started running into the airport and Zander ran behind her. She went up to the same lady at the information deck.

“Where is gate D8?” Lexi asked out of breath.

The lady gave the same directions that she told Taylor moments before. Lexi took off running with Zander following again. When they got to the corner of the hallway, Zander stopped and started walking and watched Lexi go. Lexi saw Taylor sitting there , so she ran as fast as she could.

“TAYLOR!!” Lexi yelled as she ran towards him.

Taylor heard her yell and stood up. He saw her running at him, he opened his arms and hugged her tightly.

“What are you doing here?” Taylor asked her.

“I couldn’t stay at school and not see you off. I got my friend Zander to drive me.” She said pointing to Zander who was standing by the wall.

Lexi grabbed Taylor and hugged him very closely.

“Oh Taylor, I am gonna miss you so much! I can’t believe you have to go already!”

“I love you Lexi!” Taylor said, he to get teary eyed.

“I love you too!” Lexi said as she began to cry.

Tears began rolling down her cheeks. Taylor put his hands on her face and wiped away the tears with his thumbs. He looked into her eyes and said “You have tears of pearls!” Then he gently kissed her on the lips.

Just then they heard “The flight to Oklahoma will now be boarding” over the PA system.

“That’s me!” Taylor said with a sadden voice.

Taylor picked up his bag and put it on his back. He put his arms around Lexi and gave her the last real kiss for now. Lexi hugged him hard and began to cry.

“I love you!” Lexi whispered into his ear.

Taylor began to walk into the tunnel but turned around to say one last thing before he left her behind.

“I love you!” Taylor yelled to Lexi.

Lexi put her hand over her mouth and began to cry as she watched Taylor walk away.

Zander walked up behind Lexi and put his arms around her for comfort. Zander and Lexi walked over to the window and watched the plane take off.

“Are you ready to go?” Zander asked.

“I think I wanna walk home.”

“Are you sure? It’s a couple of miles away.”

“Yeah, I’m sure. I have the time to spare.”

Lexi and Zander walked together out of the airport. They went their separate ways and Lexi walked home.

The next day at school, it was fourth block.

Lexi was at her desk with her head down. Zander was sitting in front of Lexi taking notes from the board. There was a knock at the door and the principal Mrs. Zeek walked in. She gave the teacher a piece of paper and walked out.

“Lexi and Zander, Mrs. Zeek wants to talk to both of you in her office now!” The teacher said.

Both Lexi and Zander got up and grabbed their stuff and walked out.

“We’re gonna be in so much trouble!” Zander said to Lexi as they walked down the hall.

“I’ll take all the rap, don’t worry!” Lexi replied as they reached the principals office.

As they walked in the office, Zander was very nervous but Lexi was confident. It didn’t matter to Lexi if she got into trouble.

“Just go right in!” The office aid said.

They walked into the office and Mrs. Zeek was sitting behind her desk.

“Shut the door behind you and have a seat!” Mrs. Zeek said.

Zander shut the door and they both sat down in the seats in front of the desk.

“Do you guys minding tell me what happened yesterday?” Mrs. Zeek asked.

“I’m sorry mame, I take full credit. I asked Zander to take me somewhere.” Lexi said.

“Where?” Mrs. Zeek asked.

“To the airport.” Lexi replied and taking a deep breath.

“And why did you need to go to the airport?”

“It’s hard for me to talk about and yesterday was just a spur of the moment thing!”

“It better not happen again!” Mrs. Zeek stated.

“It won’t because I wanna move back to Tulsa!” Lexi replied.

“What! Why?” Zander asked in shock.

“You saw me yesterday! I was a nervous wreck, I can’t take being away from him!” Lexi said grabbing a tissue from Mrs. Zeek’s desk, and wiping the tears from her eyes.

“May I ask what you are talking about?” Mrs. Zeek asked.

“You see, Lexi has a secret!” Zander said

“Thanks Zander!” Lexi replied cutting Zander off.

“No, It’s not a bad secret! It’s just...if people find out, they’ll treat her different.” Zander finished.

“Maybe if I know this secret Lexi? I promise I won’t treat you differently!” Mrs. Zeek asked.

“Well...you probably won’t believe me.”

“Try me!”

“My boyfriend came to visit me for a while but he got called back yesterday unannounced.”

“Why will people treat you different from that?”

“That’s not the secret. My boyfriend is someone...he’s got many fans.”

“He’s Taylor Hanson!” Zander said cutting her off.

Lexi just smiled.

“Wow! That’s a good secret!”

“Please don’t tell anyone!” Lexi begged.

“Your secret is safe with me!”

There was a short pause.

“Since this was your first offense and I guess you did have a good reason, I’ll just give you a detention today. But if I catch you doing it again, I will suspend you!” Mrs. Zeek stated.

While Lexi and Zander were in Mrs. Zeek’s office talking the school bell rang and school was out.

“Go to the assembly hall and stay there until I come and tell you, you can leave.” Mrs. Zeek said.

Both Zander and Lexi got up and left her office.

While they were walking down the hallway Brandon came up to Lexi.

“Hey, are you coming to my party on Friday?” Brandon asked.

“Umm.. yeah I’ll be there!”

“Okay cool! Well I gotta go get things for the party. Later!” Brandon said and left.

When they got to the assembly hall, they both sat down at a table. Lexi sat there with her head down on the table thinking about Taylor.

“Are you really thinking about moving back?” Zander asked.

“The thought has came across more than once!”

“What about your family?”

“My family is in Tulsa!”

“Don’t you have any family here?”

“Just my mom.” Lexi sighed.

“I just have my dad.” Zander added.

“What do you think of New York?” Lexi asked. “It’s different from Oklahoma!”

“Yeah it is different! But it is so full of life. Of course I am gonna miss my old life but moving here gives me a chance for a new beginning.” Zander replied.

After about an hour of boredom Mrs. Zeek walked into the auditorium.

“You guys can leave now, but remember what I said before!”

Zander and Lexi got up and walked out. As they walked out the school doors, they saw Brandon sitting on the steps.

“Bye!” Zander said to Lexi.

“Later!” Lexi replied.

Brandon stood up and looked at Lexi.

“What are you still doing here?” Lexi asked.

“Waiting for you!”

“Me? Why?”

“Well you’ve seemed down, so I thought that you could go with me to get stuff for the party.”

“Yeah, I guess I could for a little while.” Lexi replied.

Brandon and Lexi walked to the car and got in.

“Where are we going?” Lexi asked.

“Just to a couple of stores, I need to get food and drinks.” Brandon replied as they were leaving the school parking lot.

The whole time Brandon and Lexi were out shopping Taylor kept calling her house. Brandon cheered Lexi up with jokes, she smiled and had a fun time. But Taylor’s face still lingered through Lexi’s mind.

Finally around 7:00pm Brandon dropped Lexi off at her house.

“Thanks for going with me!” Brandon said as they sat in the car.

“Thanks for taking me! It cheered me up.” Lexi replied with a smile.

Lexi grew quiet and Brandon grew nervous.

“So... I guess I'll see ya tomorrow.” Lexi said getting out of the car.

“Yeah”

Lexi started walking up to the house and Brandon drove off. She went to unlock the front door but she noticed it was already unlocked. She opened the door and walked in. Lexi saw her mother cooking in the kitchen.

“Hey honey!” her mother said.

“Hey, how was your trip?” Lexi asked walking into the living room.

“It was okay.” her mother said walking into the living room. “Elexis we need to talk!”

Lexi put her book bag down and sat down on the couch. Her mother sat down next to her.

“What do you want to talk about?”

“Well...how would you feel if I started dating again?”

“Mom...as long as you’re happy, I’m happy for you!”

“It’s good to hear you say that because I met someone special.”

“Really?”

“Yeah”

“You should invite him over for dinner some night, he has to get my approval.” Lexi gigged.

“I’ll go call him.” she said as she got up and left the room.

Lexi got up from the couch and went up to her room. She was going to call Taylor but when she heard the news from her mother, she forgot to call Taylor.

*The next day*

Lexi and her mother were in the kitchen cooking food. When it was almost finished Lexi’s phone went off upstairs.

“Do you hear that ringing?” Lexi’s mother asked her.

Lexi took off running through the house and upstairs and into her room.

She picked it up, “Hello?”

All she heard was a click as they hung up.

“Dang!”

Lexi instantly pushed in the Hanson phone number.

“Hello?” Diana said on the other line.

“Hello there!” Lexi said.

“It’s nice to hear from you Lexi, here’s Zac!”

Hey man!” Zac said.

“Wazzup?”

“I finally bought a scooter, it’s like yours!” Zac replied.

“That’s cool!”

“Taylor has been trying to get a hold of you since he got home.” Zac said.

“Really? Is he there now?”

“He just left with my dad.”

“Oh, did he just call?”

“Yeah, but then he had to leave.”

Just then Lexi’s mother yelled “Lexi their here!” from downstairs. Then she heard the door open and close.

“Zac, I have to go but can you tell him something for me?”

“Sure anything!”

“Tell him that I love him and I miss him already miss him! Oh and give him a big kiss for me too!” Lexi giggled.

When Taylor came home Zac ran up to Taylor.

“Lexi called right after you left!” Zac said.

“Really?!?” Taylor asked “What did she want?”

“She told me to tell you that she loves you and she misses you already! Oh and I am supposed to give you a big kiss too! So pucker up baby!” he said in a funny voice.

Zac tried to grab Taylor but Taylor took of running. Zac had him cornered when Diana walked into the room.

“Zac go set the table!” Diana said.

Zac left Taylor to go set the table for his mother. All through dinner Zac kept making kissing faces at Taylor until Taylor got up and left the table, barley touching his food.

After Zac was finished with his food he went into their room to see Taylor laying on his bed.

“What’s wrong Tay?” Zac asked.

“I miss her!” Taylor replied.

“We all do!” Zac said leaving the room.

Lexi put the phone down on her bed and began to walk down the stairs. When she reached the bottom of the stairs she looked up.

“Zander!” Lexi said shocked.

“Lexi!” Zander said shocked.

“You guys know each other?” Lexi’s mother asked.

“Yeah we do!” Lexi said.

“That’s interesting” Zander’s dad said.

They all went into the dining room and sat down at the table to eat the food.

“This is good food.” Zander stated.

During dinner they talked a lot. The airport subject never came up.

“Well, we should be leaving now.” Zander’s dad said around 10:00pm.

Lexi’s mom walked his dad to the car talking, while Lexi and Zander walked behind talking.

“Now that you know where I live, you should come over and visit me!” Lexi said.

“Yeah, I will.” Zander replied.

Both Zander and his father got into their car and left.

Lexi and her mother walked back into the house and picked up things left out from dinner.

“Good night.” Lexi said to her mother as she went upstairs to bed.

Around 8:00am Lexi’s phone began to ring.

“Mom get the phone!” Lexi yelled still half asleep.

Her mother didn’t answer and the phone kept ringing.

“Agh..” She moaned as she jumped out of her bed.

She ran down the stairs into the living room to where the phone is.

“Hello?” she said in a sleepy voice.

“Hey is this Lexi?”

“Yeah! Who is this?”

“It’s Tristin Duh!” Tristin said in a hyper voice.

“Sorry, It’s too early to comprehend. Why are you calling me so early?” Lexi asked as she sat down on the couch.

“I’ve tried calling a couple of times the last few days but no one answered.”

“Oh sorry, I was probably out with Brandon or Zander.”

“Who? and who?” Tristin asked.

“Brandon and Zander, there some of my new friends.”

“Cool”

“Yeah, so what do you want to talk about before I fall asleep?” Lexi asked.

“Do you want me to come out to New York for Spring Break?”

“Yeah of course!” Lexi replied.

“Cool! When is you spring break?” Tristin asked.

“Umm... April 13th”

“Good, That’s the same as mine!”

“Cool!”

“My mom said she’ll buy me a plane ticket to go visit you!”

“That’s great! Just let me know when you coming and all the info, so I can go to the airport and get you.” Lexi said.

“Okay, my mom should buy the ticket either today or tomorrow, so I’ll call afterwards.”

“Well I won’t be home today, so don’t call me.”

“Where are you gonna be?” Tristin asked.

“I am going to Brandon’s Party!”

“Oh okay. Well I am gonna let you go now!”

“Okay, Talk to you later!”

Both Lexi and Tristin hung up. Lexi started walking up the stairs.

“It’s too early for my mom to be at work!” Lexi thought to herself. Walking up the stairs and down the hall. As she was walking into her room she decided to go look in her mother’s room. She slowly opened her mother’s door, for enough for her to see inside.

“Oh My God!” Lexi thought to herself.

She slowly shut the door and ran downstairs. She grabbed the phone and dialed Zander’s phone number.

“Hello?” Zander answered still half asleep.

“Zander?” Lexi asked.

“Yeah, Lexi?”

“Do you know where your dad is?”

“Yeah in his bed.” Zander replied.

“Go look.”

“Okay just a second.” Zander said walking into his father’s room. “He’s not there!” Zander added.

“That’s because he is in my mother’s bed!”

“What?!? No way!” Zander said in a shock.

“Why would I lie about that?” Lexi asked.

“Shoot... I’m coming over okay?” Zander asked.

“Okay”

Both Zander and Lexi hung up their phones. Lexi sat down on the couch to wait for Zander to come over. About 15 minutes went by and there was a knock on Lexi’s door. She opened it up to see Zander standing there.

“Come in” Lexi said as Zander went in.

Zander sat down on the couch while Lexi went to the kitchen and grabbed two waters. She walked back with the waters and sat down next to Zander.

“What are we gonna do?” Zander asked.

“Just wait till they wake up and take to ’em!” Lexi replied handing Zander a water.

“Yeah, okay.”

“Do you want to watch TV until then?” Lexi asked.

“Sure!”

Lexi turned on the TV and turned it on cartoons.

“Do you like cartoons?” Lexi asked.

“Of course!” Zander replied.

About a half hour of watching cartoons went by. Lexi’s mother and Zander’s father began to walk down the stairs. Both Zander and Lexi looked up at their parents.

“Lexi!...Zander!” Lexi’s mother said in shock.

“What are you doing up?” Zander’s father asked in shock.

“What are you doing here dad?” Zander asked.

“Why did I catch you two in bed?” Lexi asked.

“Why don’t you two go sit at the table, we need to talk to both of you!” Lexi’s mother said.

Zander and Lexi got up from the couch and went and sat at the table. Lexi’s mother and Zander’s father both sat across from their kids with some coffee.

“Their gonna know sooner or later!” Zander’s father said to Lexi’s mother.

“Yeah!” Lexi’s mother said looking at both Lexi and Zander.

“We’re gonna know what?” Lexi asked.

“We’re moving in together!”

“What?” Lexi and Zander said in shock while looking at each other.

“Wait who is moving into who’s house?” Zander asked.

“You and I are moving in with Lexi and her mother.” Zander’s father said.

“When?” Lexi asked.

“We can start today.” Lexi’s mother replied.

“Yeah sure.” Lexi said quietly.

Lexi got up from the table and walked upstairs and into her room.

Zander and his father went to their house to begin packing their things.

Lexi’s mother knocked on her door.

“It’s open!” Lexi said going through her clothes.

“Lexi?” she said walking in Lexi’s room. “Can we talk about what’s happening?”

“Sure mom, what’s on your mind?”

“I was just wondering if you’re gonna be fine with them moving in here?”

“Well Zander is a great friend, So that will be cool to have someone to talk to around the house. It will just take some time to get used to it.”

“So you’re fine with it?”

“Yeah, if I’m not you’ll be the first person I’ll tell.”

For a good portion of the day they moved some boxes of Zander’s and his father’s things. Zander put his things in his future room, which was an extra bedroom down the hall from Lexi’s.

Around 6:30pm Lexi came running down the stairs.

“Mom, I’m leaving!” Lexi yelled.

“Where are you going?” her mother asked.

“To the party.”

“Oh is that this weekend?”

“Yeah” Lexi replied looking at Zander who was sitting on the couch. “Zander do you wanna go with me?”

“Nah.” Zander replied.

“Yeah you are, come on! You can drive us.” Lexi said as she grabbed Zander’s hand.

Zander drove them to Brandon’s house After they knocked on the door, Brandon answered.

“Hope you don’t mind that I brought Zander.” Lexi said to Brandon.

“No, more people, more fun!” Brandon exclaimed. “Come in!”

Lexi and Zander walked in the house. There was loud music playing and tons of people through out the house and the back yard.

“Where can I set my bag?” Lexi asked Brandon

“I’ll show you guys around and you can put your bag in my sisters room.”

Brandon took them through the house showing them the room of the house.

“this is my sisters room. That is where she’ll be recording her dumb music awards show.”

That’s when Lexi remembered that Taylor wanted her to watch it. “I can just barrow his sister’s tape and watch it!” Lexi thought to herself.

“Oh here she comes” Brandon said about his sister. “Carrie these are my friends, Lexi Jordan and Zander Freedmen. You guys this is my sister Carrie”

Everyone greeted each other.

“Lexi you can just put your bag in her room.” Brandon said.

Lexi set her bag down on the floor of carries room as Carrie was getting ready to start taping the AMA awards. Brandon took them into the kitchen to get something to drink.

“Hey girl!” Ana said as she ran up to Lexi. “Come on I want you to meet someone.”

Lexi and Ana went in the other room leaving Zander standing there alone with Brandon.

“So you and Lexi have a thing?” Brandon asked taking a drink.

“Excuse me?” Zander asked shocked.

“You’re always with her.”

“We’re just good friends.”

“Just friends?” Brandon asked in question.

“Yeah, Why you like her?” Zander asked.

“Yeah I do!” Brandon whispered.

All Zander could think about was the day at the airport. Zander knew that he couldn’t say anything about her having a boyfriend because no one knew about Taylor.

“Hey Tay, did you bring your cell phone?” Zac asked sitting at the AMA Awads.

“Yeah, Why?”

“I was just wondering, because if we win, I promised Mac I would call him!”

“Okay, but if we win I am going to call Lexi!” Taylor replied.

The lights went down and The AMA Awards started.

Lexi and Ana walked into the kitchen laughing.

“Are you ready to play?” Brandon asked as they began walking to another room.

“Play what?” Lexi asked.

“Spin the bottle!” Ana replied.

Ana, Brandon, Lexi, Zander, Gabbie, and Kris sat down on the floor in a circle. Brandon placed a glass Coke-a-Cola bottle in the middle of the circle.

“I wanna go first!” Gabbie yelled spinning the bottle.

The bottle spun until it stopped and pointed to Zander. Zander smiled.

Even though Zander was very nervous, both Zander and Gabbie leaned in and quickly kissed each other.

Zander went next. He spun the bottle until it stopped on Ana.

“All right!” Ana said excitedly. Ana leaned in and kissed Zander with a little tongue.

“Yeah! Let’s do it again!” Ana jokingly yelled.

Everyone started laughing. Everyone went, it was finally Lexi’s turn. Lexi spun the bottle until it stopped and pointed at Brandon. Brandon got a big smile on his face. Both Lexi and Brandon leaned in and slowly kissed on the lips. Even though it was a short kiss, feeling were involved.

“The next award if for “Album of the Year” The nominee’s are....” The announcer said “Nelly for Country Grammar, *Nsync for No Strings Attached, Blessid Union Of Souls for The Singles and Hanson for This Time Around. The winner is...” The announcer said opening the envelope. “Nsync for No Strings Attached.” The audience went wild.

Of course Isaac, Taylor and Zac felt a little saddened but they were happy just to be nominated.

Some time passed.

“Hey Lexi, do you wanna go sit outside?” Brandon asked.

“Sure, why not!” Lexi replied.

Brandon and Lexi walked outside and sat down on a wooden bench swing.

“So you having a good time?” Brandon asked Lexi.

“Yeah, it is pretty fun.” Lexi replied talking a drink of her Dr. Pepper.

As they sat there talking, Hanson was up for another award.

“This next award is for “Song of the Year” The nominee’s are....Nsync for ‘Bye Bye Bye’, Hanson for ‘This Time Around’, and Britney Spears for ‘Oops I Did It Again.” The announcer said “The award going to.... Hanson for “This Time Around!”

The crowd went wild as Zac jumped up screaming, and Taylor and Isaac got up really happy. They made their way up to the stage.

“Oh Wow! Thank you! First we would like to thank our fans for sticking by us!” Isaac said.

“Our record label and to all the people we worked with in the past!” Zac said. “You love me! You really love me!”

“We want to thank our family and friends! I personally want to thank the love of my life Lexi Jordan, I Love You!” Taylor said as the audience were in ‘Awe’.

“We love you people!!” Zac yelled in a weird but funny voice.

The audience clapped and cheered as Hanson walked off stage and went to the press room.

Just then Zander ran outside and told Lexi what Taylor just said.

“Taylor who?” Brandon asked.

Lexi’s phone began to ring from her bag. Carrie found the phone and answered it.

“Hello?” Carrie said on the cell phone.

“Is Lexi around?” Taylor asked.

“She’s outside with Brandon.” Carrie replied.

“Brandon?” Taylor thought to himself. “Can I speak to her please? This is long distance.”

“Only if it is important, I think they’re gonna hook up since they kissed!” the little weasel of a sister said.

“Excuse me! Did you say kissed?” Taylor asked getting upset.

“Yeah, who is this anyway?” Carrie asked.

“Taylor Hanson, her boyfriend!”

“Yeah right!” Carrie said as she heard Taylor hang up the phone. “How rude!” Carrie thought to herself as she walked through the house.

“What was that about?” Isaac asked Taylor.

Taylor turned toward the wall with his hands covering his eyes.

“Taylor!” Isaac said pulling one of his arms, revealing his teary eyes. “What’s wrong?” Isaac asked worried.

“Lexi kissed another guy!”

“There’s gotta be a good reason why.” Isaac said hoping there was.

“Maybe she doesn’t love me anymore!”

“That’s not true and you know it!” Isaac stated.

Before Lexi could reply with the answer to Brandon, Carrie came running outside and stopped in front of Lexi and Brandon.

“Your Lexi right?” Carrie asked catching her breath.

“Yeah, why do you have my phone?”

“Well some guy called claiming to be your boyfriend, Taylor Hanson.” Carrie said as Lexi stood up from the swing. “I said some things, then he hung up on me.” Carrie added.

“What things did you say?” Lexi asked taking her phone.

“Well, That you were outside with Brandon and that I thought the you were gonna hook up since you kissed.”

“Oh My God! You didn’t say that! Please tell me you didn’t say that!” Lexi replied.

“Sorry!” Carrie apologized.

Lexi slowly sat down on the swing with her head down. Zander went and sat down next to Lexi.

“Everything is gonna be okay.” Zander said.

“He’s never gonna forgive me!” Lexi said.

“Yes he will. Just call him!” Zander said.

“Was that the real Taylor Hanson?” Carrie asked Lexi.

“Yes it was.” Lexi replied.

“Are you really going out with him?” Carrie asked

“I hope I still am!” Lexi replied

People began to start talking among themselves.

“We should go” Zander said to protect Lexi from tons of questions.

Lexi and Zander both got up from the swing and headed for the house.

“Sorry I have to leave like this” Lexi said to Brandon.

Lexi grabbed her bag from Carrie’s room. Lexi and Zander got into the car and left the party. While in the car, Lexi dialed on her cell phone.

“Hello?” Diana said

“Mrs. Hanson, This is Lexi. Is Taylor there?”

“No, Sorry Lexi. He is still at the Awards.” Diana replied.

“He must have called me from the cell phone!” Lexi thought to herself. “I am so sorry to be calling this late!” She said.

“Are you alright dear?” Diana asked “ You sound troubled.”

“Well Mrs. Hanson, I was at a party when Taylor called me and a friends sister told me things that weren’t entirely true. He thinks...well I don’t know what he thinks I just need to talk to him!” Lexi said starting to cry. “I love Taylor! I would never hurt him!” Lexi started to cry a little harder.

“Shh...dear, it’ll be okay! I’ll talk to Taylor when he gets home.”

“Have him call me please.” Lexi said

“I’ll tell him you called”

They hung up their phones.

“What did she say?” Zander asked as he parked his car.

“She’ll tell him I called.” Lexi said getting out of the car.

Lexi and Zander walked into the house. As Lexi ran up the stairs to her room, Zander went into the kitchen and got two glasses of chocolate milk. He took the glasses and walked upstairs.

“Lexi can we talk?” Zander asked standing at her room door.

“Sure”

Zander walked into her room and sat the glasses down on her desk next to her bed.

“I’ll be right back” Zander said leaving her room and going into his room. “Now where did I put that thing?....Oh here it is!” He said to himself picking up a picture from a box upon the floor.

Zander walked back into Lexi’s room and sat down next to her on her bed.

“Here!” Zander said showing Lexi the picture.

“Who is that with you?”

“That’s my girlfriend Katie from back home.”

“So it’s like Taylor and I?”

“Yeah and we to are trying to work things out.”

“How are you guys doing it?”

“With trust and honesty. Lexi you have to be honest with Taylor and True to your self. If you tell him what really happened tonight, I am sure he’ll forgive you.”

“Thank You!” Lexi said hugging Zander.

“For what?” Zander asked hugging Lexi back.

“For being a great friend to me!”

Zander just smiled and took a drink of his glass of chocolate milk.

“I can’t believe she kissed another guy!” Taylor screeched in the limo on the way home from the AMA Awards.

The rest of the ride home was peaceful. Isaac and Zac didn’t want to say anything to agitate Taylor anymore.

“Taylor I need to talk to you for a minute please.” Diana said to Taylor as he walked into the house.

“Yeah mom?” Taylor said following Diana into the other room.

“You had a phone call tonight.”

“From who?”

“Lexi!”

Taylor laid his head down on the table he was sitting at.

“You wanna tell me what happened?”

Taylor didn’t waste anytime. “She kissed another guy!” Taylor said getting teary eyed.

“How do you know this?” Diana asked him.

“I called Lexi’s cell phone after I declared my love on National TV and some girl told me Lexi a guy named Brandon.”

“It was a nice speech honey!” Diana said complimenting her son. “Did you get Lexi’s side of this story?”

“What side? She kissed another guy!”

“She called here earlier upset and crying! You and her need to talk about what happened. I can’t force you to call her but I am just asking you to listen to your heart!”

Taylor just laid his head down on the table.

“I am going to go to bed now. Goodnight!” Diana said kissing her son on the head.

“Goodnight mom!” Taylor mumbled not lifting his head up.

Taylor sat at the table with his head down. He thought about all the good times he has had with Lexi. As the thoughts flew through Taylor’s mind he slowly drifted asleep. Still sitting at the table.

The next morning, Diana came in the kitchen where Taylor had been. She began cooking the family breakfast. Taylor began to hear the noises and started to wake up.

“Taylor have you been here all night?” Diana asked

“It’s morning?” Taylor asked his mother while wiping is face.

“Yes it is. You ready for breakfast?”

“I’m not hungry”

“Well you need to go take a shower. You have to get ready for the interview at 2:00pm”

Taylor got up from the chair and walked to his room passing Isaac and Zac along the way. Taylor grabbed his clothes and went to take a shower.

“Where was Tay last night?” Zac asked sitting at the table in the kitchen.

“He fell asleep at the table last night.” Isaac said

“How did you know?” Diana asked

“I saw him last night when I got a drink of water.” Isaac replied.

About an hour went by and Hanson had to go to the interview at the local hotel.

“Hey Christopher Sabec, Tell them not to ask questions about Lexi okay?” Isaac asked only thinking of his brothers feelings.

“Yeah sure, no problem.” He replied. “Are you guys ready?”

“Yeah” they replied. They all walked out and sat at a table along a wall.

The reporters started asking regular questions and Hanson answered them. After about a half an hour of those questions a reporters blurted out this question: “Who is Lexi Jordan and where is she from?”

“We aren’t answering questions regarding Lexi.” Isaac started but was cut off by Taylor.

“No that’s okay, She was my girlfriend and she moved to New York.” Taylor replied

“Was?” another reporter questioned.

“Well we have to talk through some things” Taylor replied.

That’s when one of their managers Christopher Sabec came out and said “ That’s all the questions for today.”

Isaac, Taylor and Zac all got up from the table and ran into their van.

“Hello?” Zander asked picking up the phone.

“Is Lexi there?” Trisitin asked

“Yeah just a sec.” Zander said

“Okay”

“Lexi someone is on the phone for you!” Zander yelled walking up the stairs.

“Who is it?” Lexi yelled back

“ I don’t know, It’s a girl” He replied walking into her room and handing her the phone.

“Hello?” She asked on the phone.

“Wazzup girl?” Tristin asked

“Oh girl, my life is falling out of control!”

“How?”

“Taylor won’t talk to me”

“What happened?”

“Well you know when Taylor made his speech at the awards?” Lexi asked

“Yeah, that was a good speech”

“Well anyways, Taylor called my but I was at a party. A friends sister told me a couple of things”

Lexi went on to tell Tristin what exactly happened that night.

“Well I’ll talk to them and explain things.” Tristin replied.

“Thank you.”

After their phone conversation, Lexi’s mother asked her and Zander to go to the grocery store. When Lexi and Zander stepped outside, they noticed about 10 camera crews and news reporters outside their house. They all started asking questions and taking pictures all at the same time. Lexi and Zander quickly ran back into the house.

“Mom!” Lexi yelled

“What?” She yelled back

“Come here! Quick!” Zander yelled

Her mother walked into the room and they showed her the people outside the house.

“What are they doing here?” Lexi asked

No one knew who they were or why they were there. That is until the next day.

“Yo Lexi, Come in here for a sec.” Zander said from within his room.

“What?” Lexi asked walking into his room.

“Look at this” He said showing her an article with a picture in a teen magazine he got in the mail.

“That’s us!” She said “What the heck?”

“It says that we are dating now and you cheated on Taylor with me!” Zander stated.

Lexi read the article with the reaction of disgust. The whole article was about how Lexi supposedly cheated on Taylor with Zander.

“None of this is true!” Lexi stated. “Taylor will never talk to me now with all this garage going around the news.

Zander grabbed Lexi’s hand as they went out the door and ran through the media, who has been standing outside their house. They got into the car and drove to the airport. As they walked through the hallways, people looked at them a little weird.

They sat in the airport terminal for about 25 minutes before Tristin’s plane landed.

“That’s her plane!” Lexi said pointing out the window to the plane.

Both Lexi and Zander stood up and walked over closer to the terminal door to wait. The people started to unload and the people began to walk out of the terminal door.

“Oh here she comes!” Lexi stated in excitement.

Tristin saw Lexi and ran towards her and giving her a huge hug.

“I misses you so much!” Tristin smiled.

“I misses you too!” Lexi replied as they all walked to get her luggage.

When they finally got into the car, they talked more.

“So you’re Zander huh?” Tristin asked buckling up in the backseat.

“Yup that’s me!”

“You guys are well talked about in the media.!” Tristin said handing Zander a magazine while Lexi drove them home.

“It’s all a lie!” Zander said reading an article.

The article stated that Zander has been staying over at Lexi’s house.

“Have you really been staying at Lexi’s house?” Tristin asked sitting up eagerly awaiting a response.

Both Lexi and Zander began to giggle.

“Well...I live with Lexi.” Zander replied still giggling.

Tristin got a confused look on her face. “You live together?” she asked still confused.

Zander and Lexi went on to explain the whole story about their parents. Tristin began to understand everything.

“I’ve tried to tell Taylor but he won’t call me!” Lexi said.

“There is one way that you could reach him!” Tristin stated.

“How?” Lexi asked

“Just speak to those camera people” Tristin said pointing to the media standing outside Lexi’s house.

“Lexi parked the car and Tristin, Lexi and Zander walked towards the house. When they got to the front door, Lexi stopped and faced the media. Everyone stopped and paused as Lexi began to speak.

“I just want to set some things straight!”

As Lexi kept talking, the reporters were taping her every word and taking her pictures.

“First of all, My heart still belongs to Taylor Hanson! I never cheated on him!”

“What about the guy with you?” Someone asked

“Zander is a good friend of mine! Our parents are dating. Zander and his Father moved in with my mother and I. That’s why I am always with him.”

As Lexi spoke and answered many questions, Back in Tulsa Taylor was flipping through the Tv channels and came across MTV news and saw Lexi speaking. He slowly sat up in his chair as Lexi spoke.

“Do you still love Taylor Hanson?” Someone asked her.

“I love Taylor with all my heart!” Lexi stated.

Taylor got a little teary eyes as he watched and heard Lexi again.

Isaac walked into the room with the phone. He tossed it into Taylor’s lap.

“Just call her already!” Isaac said sitting down on the couch.

Taylor just sat there staring at Lexi on the Tv, in awe. Seeing her face again made his heart pound faster. He watched, not removing his eyes from the screen, Until Lexi walked into her house.

“...Tay...Taylor!” Isaac said trying to get his attention.

“what...” Taylor snapped back into reality.

“You’re pathetic!” Isaac said standing up.

He walked over to Taylor, grabbed the phone and dialed Lexi’s phone number.

“Is Lexi there?” Isaac asked someone on the other end.

A second later he heard “Hello?” on the other end.

“Hey Lexi, it’s Ike.”

“Isaac I am so glad to hear from you!”

“I am glad you feel that way, but I know someone that is dieing to speak to you!” Isaac replied handing Taylor the phone and walking out of the room.

“Lexi...” Taylor said as if he was gonna cry.

“Taylor! I’ve missed you so much! I am so sorry for what I did to you!” She blurted out running up to her room.

“I am sorry for not calling you. I should’ve before jumping to conclusions. My emotions got carried away with pain. When I saw your speech on MTV news, I was shocked but relieved to hear your words!”

After Lexi and Taylor had a long discussion and Lexi explained to Taylor everything that happened. Taylor had to go to the studio with his brothers to put some finishing touches on the remaining songs on their new album.

“Taylor! I never heard you sing with so much emotion before!” The producers claimed after Taylor finished up on a song.

“I got my inspiration back!” Taylor replied taking a drink of his water before singing again but this time with Isaac and Zac.

“Okay, what do you wanna do first?” Lexi asked Tristin as they were unpacking Tristin’s clothes.

“How about you show me around New York!” Tristin suggested.

“Okay”

The girls left Lexi’s room and when down stairs.

“Zander I am gonna show Tristin around New York”

“Okay but be home for dinner! I am cooking.”

“You know where the fire extinguisher is?” Lexi joked.

“Ha Ha very funny” Zander yelled from within the kitchen.

Lexi and Tristin started their tour. Luckily there was no media following them around. They spent a couple of hours walking around New York. Then heading back home for some dinner, that Zander cooked.

The next few days Tristin and Lexi did many things. Lexi introduced Tristin to some of her new friends there.

“I am going to work now” Lexi’s mother “Your father should be home soon.” She said to Zander.

“Mom Ana is gonna stay over okay?” Lexi said.

“Okay dear.” she replied walking out the door.

They had a friends night out. Lexi, Tristin, Ana and Zander all hung out together. For the remaining days that Tristin was in New York, Lexi and Tristin spent every waking moment together not knowing when they will see each other again.

“I can’t believe you have to leave already!” Lexi said.

“I know. It feels like I just got here!”

They sat there talking to each other in the airport terminal waiting for Tristin’s plane to arrive.

“The non-stop flight to Tulsa, Oklahoma will now be boarding.” The PA announced.

“That’s me.” Tristin said.

Lexi and Tristin hugged and said their goodbyes.

“Call me when you get back, Okay?” Lexi suggested.

“Sure will!”

Tristin walked through the terminal and got on the plane. From the window the girls could sorta see each other. As the plane slwoly began to move they waved to each other.

“Finally we get to tour again!” Zac said running around the Hanson house gathering his things he wanted to take with him.

The Hanson house was full of commotion. People were running around the house trying to gather their belongings for the tour. They decided that Diana would stay home with the younger children and Walker would go on tour with Isaac, Taylor and Zac.

As Lexi was walking out of the Airport the cell phone went off in her purse. She programmed the cell phone ring tone to play ‘mmmbop’.

“Hello?” Lexi said

“Hey baby girl!”

“Hey Tay! Wazzup?”

“I got some big news!” Taylor said excitedly

“Spill it!” Lexi giggled walking to Zander’s car that she borrowed.

“We’re going on tour again for the new album.”

“That’s great! When is the new album coming out?” Lexi asked sitting in the car.

“Well it is supposed to hit stores next month, but I sent you an advanced copy in the mail.”

“Wow! I can’t wait to hear it!”

“I really don’t wanna go back to school!” Lexi said walking into Zander’s room.

“Don’t worry about what people think.” Zander replied putting on his shoes.

“Their gonna act funny around me now!”

“You’re over reacting” He said standing up. “Come on we’re gonna be late” He said grabbing his back pack.

“Let me just get my bag.” She said walking into her room.

“Meet me down stair.” Zander said walking down the stairs.

As Zander pulled into the parking lot, Lexi got nervous. When they walked into the school, most of the people started to look at her. Zander wasn’t paying much attention to anyone.

“Everyone is looking at me!” Lexi thought to herself as she watched everyone’s eyes as they walked down the hallway.

She left Zander’s side and walked quickly to her locker. The she hurried to her first block class. Ana was already seated in her desk.

“Hey girl! What’s wrong?” Ana asked as Lexi plopped down in he seat next to her.

“Everyone is looking at me!”

“Oh... That's all?” Ana joked “Don’t worry about them, their just jealous. Besides no one knows any famous people around here, your the only one.”

When Lexi got home she went right into her room. As she put her bag down by her desk she noticed there was a package on her bed. There was no return address on it. She slowly ripped off the paper and opened the box. The box was packed with white crate paper. After she took out all the paper she noticed the new Hanson CD sitting at the bottom of the box. She picked it up and walked over to her CD player. She took the CD out of the case and placed it in the CD player and pushed ‘play’. As she sat down on her bed she heard the music start. She intently listened to the words Taylor began to sing. All her thoughts drifted to Taylor. She turned her head and she saw a picture of her with Hanson at her birthday party. The memory of that day played in her mind, which made a tear fall to her check.

For about the next week or so, Lexi felt like everyone was watching her every move. The media slowly started to stop bothering her but with the occasional photographer.

“We’re coming home from Germany tomorrow! We’re gonna start touring the US.” Taylor said over the phone to Lexi.

“That’s great! Are you gonna come to New York?”

“I’m not sure yet. We only know where we’re going in a weeks advance.”

“Just let me know if you’re gonna come here! I would love to see you in concert again!”

“You know I can’t go to New York with out seeing my girl!”

“Oh Taylor I miss you!” Lexi sighed

“I miss you too! Lexi...” Taylor started all chocked up.

“Yeah?”

“I love you! With all my heart I do!” Taylor finished

“I love you too Taylor! With all my heart!” Lexi replied with tears in her eyes.

“I’m glad that’s over, I am so tired!” Isaac said as the we’re leaving the hotel lobby for an interview.

When they got into there rooms, Taylor immediately got into the shower. Soon after the tour director came to there room.

“Okay guys, I got you’re new tour schedule” He said handing Isaac and Zac a piece of paper. “Where’s Taylor?”

“He’s in the shower. I’ll give him his paper when he gets out.” Isaac answered.

“Okay.” he said as he left the room.

“Alright! Woohhoooo!!” Zac yelled jumping on the bed.

“Why are you so happy?” Isaac asked Zac.

Zac stopped jumping and sat next to Isaac. He pointed to something on Isaac’s schedule. NEW YORK!

“Yippee! I get to see Lexi!” Zac said jumping on the bed again.

Just then the bathroom door opened and Taylor walked out. “What’s all the racket out here?” Taylor asked putting on his t-shirt.

“We just got our tour schedules.” Isaac answered handing Taylor the piece of paper.

‘We’re gonna go to New York!!” Zac yelled.

Taylor got a huge smile on his face and joined his brothers jumping on the bed in excitement.

“What’s going on in here?” Walker asked walking in the room.

“We’re going to New York!” Isaac said standing up.

“No wonder ya’ll are so happy” Walker joked.

“we’re gonna go see Lexi!” Zac yelled as he jumped onto Isaac’s back.

“Get off of me your freak!” Isaac yelled trying to keep his balance.

Everyone started laughing as they both fell onto the bed.

“Come on! We’re gonna be late for school!” Zander said running down the stairs with Lexi close behind.

“We’re always almost late!” Lexi Joked.

They got to school with 5 minutes to spare. Lexi went right to her first block class.

“I didn’t think you were coming.” Ana joked as Lexi sat down right before the tardy bell rang.

“I woke up late again” Lexi replied.

“What time is it?” Taylor asked.

“8:40am” Walker answered. “Why?”

“Just wondering, When are we gonna be there?”

“Around 10:30am, don’t worry I made sure you guys have a free day to visit Elexis.”

Taylor smiled and looked out of the plane’s window. Taylor’s eyes grew heavy and he eventually fell asleep.

“Taylor wake up” Walker whispered.

“We there yet?” Taylor asked.

“We’re getting ready to land.”

Taylor sat up and watched out the window as the plane was working its way to the ground.

“You excited?” Isaac asked from the seat behind him.

“You don’t even know!” Taylor smiled.

“Okay guys, we’re having someone get our luggage for us and they’ll bring it to the hotel.” Walker said.

“After we got settled in the hotel, can we go to Lexi’s?” Taylor asked.

“Isn’t she at school?” Walker asked.

“Yeah, but I wanna surprise her!” Taylor replied.

“Finally its lunch time!” Lexi stated.

“I need to start bringing a lunch, this stuff don’t look to healthy.” Ana joked about the school’s lunch.

Lexi giggled getting a pop from the pop machine.

“Okay dad we’re gonna go to Lexi’s now.” Taylor said.

Taylor, Zac and Isaac took a cab to Lexi’s house. After knocking at the door Lexi’s mother answered.

“Hello Taylor, right?” she asked.

“Yes ma’am.” Taylor replied.

“Come on in, are these your brothers?”

“Yes ma’am, this is Isaac and Zac.”

“What can I do for you? Lexi is in school.”

“That’s what we wanna talk about.” Taylor said.

“I am gonna go to class now.” Ana said walking out of the lunch room.

Lexi got up and went to her locker before going to her third block.

Around 12:20pm Mrs. Zeek came in her class.

“Lexi, Mrs. Zeek would like to have a word with you.” the teacher said.

Lexi walked out into the hall where Mrs. Zeek was.

“I didn’t do it!” Lexi said.

“You didn’t do anything wrong, I just need to talk to you in my office for a second.”

Lexi followed Mrs. Zeek down the hallway. Mrs. Zeek opened the door to her office and Lexi lost her breath.

“Lexi!” Zac yelled running over to her hugging her.

Lexi was speechless. She first hugged Zac, then she hugged Isaac. The whole time she was looking at Taylor across the room. After hugging Isaac, Lexi slowly walked over to Taylor. Taylor smiled and touched her face. He leaned in and kissed her lips. Then they hugged.

“What are you guys doing here?”

“We’re doing a concert here tomorrow. Taylor got you’re mom to come get you out of school, so she brung us with her to surprise you.” Isaac said.

“Are you ready to go?” Lexi’s mother said as Lexi hugged her.

“I have to go get my book bag from class.” Lexi replied.

Lexi started to walk out of the office but then grabbed Taylor’s hand. Taylor walked with Lexi down the hall to her class.

“Wait right here.” Lexi said walking into her class (which was separated into cliques goofing off.)

“Zander, I don’t need a ride home.” Lexi said to Zander.

“Why not?” Zander asked.

Lexi pointed to the door where Taylor peeked his head in.

“Is that who I think it is?” Zander asked with a smile.

“Yup! See you at home.” Lexi said walking out of the class room.

Both Lexi and Taylor walked towards everyone else. As they were walking out Taylor put his arm around Lexi. You could hear an “awww...” coming from the office.

Lexi’s mother took them all out to eat, then dropping them off at the hotel where Hanson was staying at.

“Bye mom.” Lexi said as they walked into the hotel.

“I am so happy to see you guys!” Lexi said while they were in the elevator.

“Hey Ike can you and Zac give us some privacy?” Tay whispered.

Isaac just nodded.

“We’re gonna go in Dad’s room.” Isaac said as they were walking in the hallway.

Taylor took Lexi into the boy’s room. Lexi jumped onto the bed.

“Take me Taylor Hanson.” Lexi joked.

Taylor jumped on the bed and laid next to Lexi. “Oh I missed being with you!” Taylor whispered to Lexi while gently kissing her ear. Then Taylor slowly moved down and started kissing Lexi’s neck. Minutes later Taylor’s shirt ended up on the floor and there was a knock at the door.

“Who’s there?” Taylor yelled.

“It’s us.” Isaac yelled. “Dad’s coming let us in!”

Taylor jumped off of Lexi and hurried to put his shirt back on. Lexi sat up on the bed. After Taylor opened the door Zac came running in and jump on the bed.

“You guys in here making babies?” Zac asked in a corny voice.

“Shut up Zac!” Taylor said as Lexi hit Zac with a pillow.

That led into a full fledge pillow fight.

“Hello Elexis.” Mr. Hanson said walking into the hotel room.

“Hi Mr. Hanson!” Lexi said as Zac was sitting on her beating her with a pillow.

“Did you guys tell her about tomorrow?” Walker asked.

“Not yet!” Zac said looking up at his dad.

That’s when Lexi pushed Zac over and ran and sat behind Taylor on the bed.

“What about tomorrow?” Lexi asked putting her arms around Taylor.

“We want you to come to the concert tomorrow!” Taylor said.

“Wohoo! Another Hanson concert!” Lexi said kissing Taylor on the cheek. “I can’t wait!”

Walker chuckled at Lexi’s excitement.

“Do I have to meet you there?”

“We can pick you up before we go.” Walker said.

“Is that okay if I go with you?” Lexi asked Taylor.

Taylor kissed Lexi “of course!”

“Get a room.” Zac joked throwing a pillow at them.

Lexi grabbed the pillow and tackled Zac on the ground. Everyone started laughing.

Lexi spent the whole day with Hanson. It finally got late.

“I should be going soon, you guys have a big day tomorrow!”

“Stay right here. I’ll be right back.” Taylor said going into his dad’s room.

Lexi laid on the bed watching TV.

“Dad, can Lexi stay the night?”

“What?” Walker asked shocked.

“We have to pick her up in the morning anyways.” Taylor stated.

“Taylor I am not so sure about that idea!”

“Please Dad! We aren’t gonna do anything, we’re not gonna be alone.”

Walker thought about the idea for a second.

“Dad, we don’t ever get to see each other! I want to spend every minute I can with her!” Taylor pleaded.

“Taylor...If it is okay with her mother. But don’t think I won’t keep my eye on you.” Walker said.

“You’re the best!” Taylor said hugging Walker.

Taylor went back into the other room.

“You wanna stay the night with me tonight?” Taylor asked Lexi.

“Yeah!”

“You have to ask your mom first though.”

Lexi grabbed the phone and dialed her phone number.

“Zander?” Lexi said in the phone. “Can I talk to my mom?”

“Her and my dad went out. I thought you were coming home?”

“It seems that I won’t be coming home until tomorrow.” Lexi said smiling at Taylor. “Oh and I am going to the Hanson concert tomorrow.”

“I have nothing to wear to bed.” Lexi said hanging up the phone.

“I have stuff for ya!” Taylor replied walking over to their suitcases. “Which one?” Taylor asked holding up some shorts and some sweatpants.

Lexi pointed to the black shorts. Taylor threw them along with a plain black t-shirt, to Lexi.

When Isaac and Zac came back from the pool they all decided on ordering the movie ‘The Mummy Returns’ on pay per view. They also ordered room service.

“We need some ice for the pop.” Zac said.

“I’ll go get some.” Lexi said.

She took ice bucket and went down to the 3rd floor to where the ice machine was. In the elevator on her way back up to the room there were two other girls. When Lexi got on the elevator she could her the two girls start to whisper and then start to giggle. Lexi grew self-conscious.

“What’s your name?” One girl asked.

“Elexis.” she replied.

“That name sounds so familiar!” the other girl said.

“I’ve noticed you guys have Hanson shirts on, are you guys fans?” Lexi asked.

“We’re huge fans. What about you?”

“Yeah I am a big fan too.” Lexi replied.

“Now I know why your name sounds familiar! You’re Taylor’s girlfriend!”

The elevator door opened. Lexi walked out of it but stopped on the other side.

“I’ll tell Hanson you said Hi!” Lexi giggled as the elevator door shut.

The Next Morning

Lexi decided to take a quick shower while everyone was still sleeping. After Lexi got out of the shower, she noticed Walker was waking up the boys.

“Good morning Mr. Hanson.” Lexi greeted.

“Good morning Elexis!” Walker replied while walking back into his room.

Lexi went back to the bed that her and Taylor slept in and laid next to Taylor.

“Did you sleep well?” Lexi asked kissing Taylor on the cheek.

Taylor moved down a little and laid his head on Lexi’s stomach while putting his arms around her.

“Of course I did! I was with you!” Taylor replied.

After Taylor got up to go take a shower, Lexi walked over to Zac.

“Zac, can I borrow a T-shirt?” Lexi asked Zac as he was going through his bags.

“Which one?” Zac asked.

“Do you have your black Led Zepplin t-shirt?”

“You know I do, it’s my favorite t-shirt.”

“I know, so can I wear it to the concert? Please??” Lexi begged making a sad face.

“Okay fine!” Zac said tossing the shirt over his shoulder.

“Thanks buddy ‘ole pal.” Lexi replied hugging Zac.

“Are you trying to take my girl?” Taylor joked walking into the room.

Around 9:00am they ate breakfast and gathered their things and put them into the tour bus.

“So this is what you guys are in all the time?” Lexi asked walking into the tour bus.

“Its our home away from home!” Isaac replied walking to the back of the bus.

Lexi followed the guys to the back of the bus where Isaac and Zac were already setting up a video game. Lexi sat down on a couch next to Taylor.

“Okay guys here is today's schedule.” Walker said walking into the bus. “The sound check/ setup starts at 10:30am, lunch is at 2:00pm, free time until 5:00pm, autograph signing at 6:00pm, Relax until 7:00pm then your on the stage at 8:00pm. Then after the concert we have to head out to the next city.”

Just then Lexi slide her hand in Taylor’s and nuzzled her face next to Taylor’s neck in a cuddling position.

As Hanson was running through the setup/sound check, Lexi sat down in a seat in the audience. She watched them in amazement. As Taylor was doing the first sound check, Zac was goofing off behind his drum set and Isaac was setting up his guitar. After a couple of hours, it was time for them to eat lunch.

“I didn’t know so much was put into one concert!” Lexi stated.

“When it gets closer to the concert, everything gets more hectic!” Isaac said.

When it was time for their free time, they decided that they wanted to drive a golf cart around the venue.

“Who’s driving the cart?” Lexi asked.

“I will! I will!” Zac said jumping into the driver’s seat.

Lexi and Taylor jumped into the back seat, and Isaac sat next to Zac.

“Where are we going?” Zac asked pushing down on the gas pedal.

“Let’s go around front and mess with the fans.”

They headed off to the front inside the fence. They saw a couple of fans waiting with their backs against the fence. Zac drove up behind them and honked the horn. They jumped and started screaming when they noticed it was Hanson. Lexi laughed in amusement.

After a couple of minutes of driving they had about 50 girls chasing the cart. Zac drove fast and cut short corners.

“Remind me not to ride with you Zac!” Lexi joked after they got off the cart.

When they were walking into the venue to get ready for the autograph signing, Taylor and Lexi talked among themselves.

“Taylor there is something I want to ask you!” Lexi said holding Taylor’s hand.

“Ask me what?” Taylor asked.

“I know your touring and all but prom is coming up. Well maybe if you’re in town or not touring then maybe you could go with me?” Lexi innocently asked.

Taylor stopped walking and held Lexi’s hands.

“I’ll tell you this. I’ll try my best, but you know I can’t promise anything right now.”

“I know.” Lexi replied looking into Taylor’s blue eyes.

Taylor leaned in and gently kissed Lexi’s lips.

As Hanson did the autograph signing, Lexi sat off to the side just watching.

“Hey Elexis!” someone yelled.

Lexi looked over and saw the two girls that she met in the elevator. Lexi smiled and waved.

When Hanson got ready to go on stage, their manager needed to talk to them so Lexi just walked around the area. Instead of watching the concert from the audience, Lexi sat off to the side of the stage.

Lexi loved to watch Hanson perform. They all put their hearts and soul into the music they make.

After the concert was over Lexi waited backstage with Hanson.

“I can’t believe we have to leave already!” Taylor said to Lexi.

“This time I am not going to cry!” Lexi stated smiling. “I’m gonna miss you guys!”

While Zac, Isaac and Walker were making sure that they had everything together, Taylor and Lexi held each other.

“Sorry love birds, but we’ve got to go now!” Walker said.

Lexi walked, hand in hand with Taylor to their tour bus. Before they left Lexi hugged everyone and said goodbyes without crying. And off they went until next time.
