Trees
must feel many things. . .

Trees
must feel many things, as they can not see:
pressure, of the earth, roots in the ground;
water, coursing through the whole "body",
water, drawn up and down;
and heat, of the sun.

The tree
explodes into the air to receive the heat and the light.

The tree reaches vigorously
both into the air and into the ground.
The tree is actually made of
air and ground,
and is a connector
of earth and sky.

Wildly beautiful explosion of life and growth.
Harmony and pattern and also chaos.
A fascinating chaotic array
of branches stems leaves roots,
all for the experience of
water
pressure
wind
air
ground
heat
light

And with all this beauty one tree can not see another.
