Chapter three::
Isaac held Christy in his arms. She was unbelievably beautiful and captivating.
He’d been unable to take his eyes off her all evening, and even though he thought the night would be a complete waste, he was enjoying himself.
He’d never met anyone before that he felt so close to. Never had he been with someone that he was terrified of letting go of.
He was captivated by everything about her and he barely knew her.
She lifted her chin from his shoulder and leaned back slightly to look into his eyes.
He tightened his arms around her waist, amazed at how their bodies and everything else just seemed to fit together perfectly.
“Can I just tell you how long it’s been since I’ve slow danced with anyone?” She asked, her lips curling into a smile.
“Same here.” He said returning her smile, unable to stop himself from staring at her lips. He wanted to kiss her. “Can I tell you how beautiful you are?”
She laughed.
“What?” He asked.
“Is that the best line you can come up with?”
“That wasn’t a line! It was the truth!” He defended.
She giggled, “Whatever!”
The song ended and a faster one came on.
She grinned and grabbed both of his hands.
“Oh, no. I am a terrible dancer.” He smiled.
“You’ll learn. Come on, I’ll teach you… just move your hips a little.” She placed his hands on his hips.
He caught her around the waist and pulled her closer.
She giggled and shrieked with laughter as he dipped her backwards elegantly.
When he pulled her back up they found themselves inches apart, their lips nearly touching.
They stood in awe of each other for a moment.
She blushed slightly and looked down. She bit her lip and became shy.
“Hey, do you want to get out of here?” He asked.
“Yeah.”
“Come on.” He grasped her hand and pulled her from the club.

Zac and Taylor were sitting in the bedroom they were sharing. There were two single beds placed at either end of the room.
Zac was going through his backpack while Taylor sat up in bed reading.
“So what happened tonight?” Zac asked, searching for a clean t-shirt to wear.
“Well, Jenna appears to have a very good fake ID. She just drank too much I guess.” He shrugged, not looking up from his book.
“Okay.”
“So, you passed out early tonight. What did you do after you woke up on the sofa?” Taylor asked, not looking up from his book.
“Uhh… I hung out with Becky.”
“And that’s it?”
“Yeah. She’s a nice girl. She’s not like all of the other fans that freak out when we talk to them. She’s… normal. She’s really down-to-earth and pretty….”
Taylor eyed his brother suspiciously.
“What?” Zac asked.
“You’ve got it bad, dude.” He teased.
“What? I do not. I just like her. She’s nice.” He felt himself blush slightly and turned away. Why was Taylor such an idiot?
“You like her. You’ve got a crush on a fan.” Taylor teased.
“I do not!”
"So you really like her. You barely know her."
"I know her enough to like her. Ok? You're weird, man."
"I'm weird? Look at you! You’re falling in love with someone and you haven't even kissed a girl!"
"Have so!"
"When?"
"... None of your business."
"Oooh, better not let Becky know that you haven’t kissed anyone before…" He teased.
"And you'd better not tell her either. Hey, who was the last girl you kissed?"
"Hey, I have kissed plenty of girls… and at least I made out with someone."
"Who? That Annette chick who follows you around Tulsa?"
"She isn't as bad as that Nicole chick who camped out in front of your window and lived in the tree house for three weeks."
"At least the cops got her. No one compares to Elisabeth. The girl who tried to seduce Ike and get herself pregnant."
"We have some pretty fucked up fans." Taylor laughed.
"Speaking of Ike, where is he?"
"Who knows? He’s got a crush Jenna’s cousin. I could tell by the way he was looking at her. He was practically salivating.”
Zac laughed. “Whatever. I’m going to sleep now.”

Isaac rarely spent an evening by being out all night. But tonight was different. He was afraid to leave Christy, incase he never saw her again. He wanted to spend as much time as he could with her before they left.
Isaac and Christy had left the club in the extreme early hours of the morning, and driven around for a place to be alone. They stopped at a 24 hour coffee shop and gone to a nearby park to watch the sun rise.
They sat on the hood of her car looking out over the bay, waiting for the sun to creep up over the horizon.
”So, come here.” She said, putting aside her coffee cup and patting her lap. She was sitting with her legs crossed elegantly, and looked breathtakingly beautiful in the dim morning light.
He smiled to himself and turned himself around, stretching out and resting his head on her thigh.
”Tell me about yourself.” She said. “Tell me everything.”
He chuckled, clasping his hands together over his stomach. “What do you want to know?”
”Well, start with the basics.” She said, looking down at him from the starlit sky. “Do you have a girlfriend?”
He smiled at her forwardness. She didn’t waste time playing games. “No. I just got out of a messy relationship...” He didn’t want to talk about it, so he quickly offered. “What about you? Are you single?”
”Permanently.”
”What do you mean by that?”
”I don’t believe in love. I just think it’s this thing that brainwashes people into thinking they want someone for something more than sex.”
She avoided his gaze and looked out over the water. He sat up and gazed at her. “You can’t mean that.”
”Yeah, I can.” She shrugged. “Why not?”
“I don’t know. I guess I just believe that there’s so much love in this world and once you find someone, you know they’re the right person for you.”
“Love at first sight and all that junk?”
He smiled at that. “It’s not just junk.”
“Okay. So have you found that someone? That perfect person?” She challenged.
He loved that she was so strong willed. Many girls would just give into everything he said.
”Maybe.” He smiled and leaned forward and kissed her, just as the sun peeked over the horizon.
