Chapter two hundred and fifty:
“You’re going to love me forever.” Zac said as he found Becky
alone in the bus.
Becky smiled at him. “I already love you. Do you think you can change
that?”
He grinned. “I think so.”
She crossed her arms over her chest, and tried to hide her smile
with a pout.
Zac laughed but added, “I got you girls a night alone. No body
guard.”
Becky shrieked and threw her arms around his neck. “I do love you!”
She whispered.
“Shhh…” He laughed. “You’ll wake up
Christy and Jen-“ He began but was interrupted when
she pressed her lips against his in a deep and lasting kiss.
He temporarily forgot everything to return her kisses, his arms
circling her waist and drawing her closer.
She finally released him from her kisses. “I love you.” She
smiled.
“I love you too…” He cleared his throat. “Wow.”
Becky laughed. “You’re so cute.”
“I uhh… wasn’t expecting you to love me
that much.” He grinned.
“I’m just so happy to have some freedom,” she smiled, carefully
wiping her lip gloss from his lips.
“Well, there is a catch though.” He added.
She backed away a couple of steps. “After I kiss
you?”
Zac smiled. “It’s just that Luke will be with you.”
“Well, it’s not so bad.” She shrugged. “Some freedom is better
than none.”
“True. I think that deserves another kiss.” He leaned forward.
She laughed and pushed him playfully.

Christy woke after her nap and left the bus to find her husband.
She stepped off the bus and into the venue, and was confronted with a long
hallway. She walked slowly down the hall looking for Isaac.
She regretted wearing the boots on her feet: they were killing
her.
“Christy!”
She turned to find Isaac coming out of one of the rooms.
He quickly walked towards her. “Honey, you’re supposed to be on
the bus with the bodyguard-“
“Jen created a diversion, I wanted to come and talk to you.”
“About what happened this morning? C, I’m so sorry about that.”
“I know. That’s what I wanted to tell you.” She began. “I know you
didn’t mean to yell at me, you’re overstressed with tour and me being sick a
lot and Jen having just gotten out of surgery, and I know you’re worried…”
“C, I-“
“So I just wanted to say that I’m not mad at you. And I forgive
you for… basically treating me like crap this morning.”
He smiled. “I truly am sorry.”
“I know.”
“You risked your safety to tell me you forgive me?”
“And to give you this.” She
stood on her toes and kissed his cheek.
This made him grin broadly. “That’s the best gift a guy could ever
get.”
“Well, the best gift might come a little later.” She teased.
“Come on, I’ll take you back to the bus, okay?” He held out his
hand.
She took his hand tightly and followed him back to the bus.
He opened the door for her. “I’ll see you later tonight, okay?”
She nodded. “Tonight.”
He bent and kissed her lips and watched her climb onto the bus
before closing the door behind her.
