Chapter twenty-two:

Christy followed Isaac up to his room and sat down on the lavish hotel bed.
He smiled widely at her. “You’re so pretty, do you know that?” He gently tucked her hair behind her ear.
She smiled. “You’re really sweet.”
He leaned forward and kissed her lips softly, however, within a few seconds, the kiss deepened.
She leaned back and stretched across the bed on her back, while he lay down on his side, never breaking the kiss.

Christy giggled as he moved his kisses slowly down her neck. She turned her head to the side to allow him better access.
”Christy?” He asked carefully taking her hand.
”Yeah?” She looked up into his beautiful chocolate eyes.
”I think… we should wait.” He studied her expression. “I just… think it’s best if we slow down a little.”

“You do?”

He nodded slowly. “What do you think?”

She sat up and exhaled slowly. “I don’t think it matters what I think.”

She got up and left the room.
Isaac sighed.

Becky was standing on the balcony with Zac after the party.
She shivered and Zac promptly removed his hoodie and draped it around her shoulders.
Becky smiled at him. “You’re sweet.”
”Thanks…” He cleared his throat. “I um… had a good time tonight.” He smiled.

“Me too. You’ve got great moves.” She teased. “You should start dancing in concerts.”
He laughed at that. “You’re crazy. People would leave!”

“I wouldn’t.”

He smiled. “Well, we should do it again… I mean, dancing…” He blushed slightly.
Becky giggled. “I think I’m going to go to bed… I’m sure Jen has passed out by now.”
Zac smiled. “Okay.” He didn’t want her to leave. “I’ll walk you to your room?”
”Are you afraid I’ll get lost?” She teased.

“No… I just… want to see you safely to your door, like the chivalrous man I am...” He nervously rubbed the back of his neck.

“Okay.” She took his hand and followed him through his and taylor’s hotel room, across the hall to the room she shared with Christy and Jen. He finally released her hand and paused outside the door.
”I’ll see you in the morning, I guess.” Becky smiled.

“Yeah.” He gently tucked her hair behind her ear and bent to kiss her softly.
Becky let the kiss linger until finally he reluctantly pulled away. “Tomorrow?”

She nodded. “Oh, wait.”

She slipped his sweater off her shoulders and handed it back to him, even though she wanted to keep it.

“Thanks,” He laughed. “Good night.”

Becky slipped into the dark bedroom and leaned against the wall with a contented sigh. How was it possible to like someone so much after only knowing them for a few weeks?
………………………………………………………………………….
Jenna woke to the sun shining brightly through the bedroom window. She groaned, feeling a headache immediately set in.
Becky was playing her Hanson CD quietly while flipping through a magazine. Christy was brushing through her hair, clearly fresh from the shower.
”Good morning.” Christy spoke sarcastically. “Hung over much?”
”Please don’t even start!” Jenna hoisted herself out of bed and immediately went rummaging through her make up kit for aspirin. “What the hell did I even do last night?”
”You kissed
Taylor.” Becky supplied.

“What?” Jenna asked in disbelief.
”You kissed
Taylor.” Christy repeated.
”Oh god!” Jenna groaned. She dropped her head on the carpet. “I’m never drinking again!”

“You said that the last time you drank.” Becky replied.
”I mean it this time… God, do you think I should talk to
Taylor?”
”Without a doubt. I bet he’s really confused right about now.” Becky crossed the room and picked up a magazine.
”Well, I have to talk to Isaac too…” Christy sighed. “I’m not looking forward to that…” She fastened her hair into a high-pony-tail. “Do I look okay?”
”Yeah.” Becky nodded.
”Okay, here goes.” Christy got up from the desk and left, passing Zac in the doorway.

“Hey, Becky.” He said.

“Hi, Zac.” She smiled.

“What’s with Jen?” He asked, noticing she was curled up on the floor.

“Umm… girl problems.” Becky laughed.
”I heard that!” Jenna threw one of her slippers at them and missed.
