Bristol

Renaissance

Faire

I was first introduced to the Bristol Renaissance Faire in the summer of 1992, when Eric, Jed and I decided to find out what this thing was all about. We loved it so much, that we went again the very next weekend. That was the Faire's last weekend of the summer, which is the only reason why we didn't go again.

The next spring, while attending UW-Parkside, a fellow student, Chris Johnson, suggested that I go down and get a job there, and that she had been working there for a few summers already. Simple enough. I found a job working for North American Carousel - games and rides. Over the next five summers I remained working with this company. After my studies in Germany, Chris and I decided to travel to several other faires. Sadly, I had to leave the road in search of something more finanically secure after only six months.

Through the Faire, I met Edward, Kevin, Brian and Mark, as well as a host of other dear friends introduced through these four.
