[Next scene. In Tulsa, July
2001. Isaac, Taylor and Zac have been on tour. Delia and Rachel
living in Pennsylvania. Tori and Morgan at Beshore house.]
TORI: I'm bored.
MORGAN: Me too.
TORI: What have you been doing
lately.
MORGAN: Acting--what's it like
for you with everyone gone. I mean, the guys touring, Rae and Delia in
PA, me on location for my movie--
TORI: Its so weird.
MORGAN: I can imagine.
[phone rings] I'll bet ya its a Hanson. [answers] Hello?
ISAAC: Hey, Morgan.
MORGAN: Hi Isaac. What's
up?
ISAAC: The Tulsa concert is
August 25 on a Saturday. We'll get tickets to you guys and backstage
passes. you just gotta let us now how many you need.
MORGAN: Okay. I can do that.
We'll call you back tomorrow and let you know.
ISAAC: You guys are also welcome
to join us cause we're going to Hershey after. Of course, its gonna
take, like, a day to get there, but whatever. We just thought you
might want to see Delia and Rae.
MORGAN: Okay, maybe. It
sounds like fun, but you'll have to have your mom talk to mine and Tori's.
That and I might have to do a movie. We'll see. We'll call you tomorrow
and let you know what's up with tickets and passes.
ISAAC: Okay. Bye Morgan.
MORGAN: Bye Ike. [both hang
up. Isaac calls the Heverlings. Karen answers.]
KAREN: Heverlings. This
is Karen.
ISAAC: Karen, its Ike.
KAREN: Isaac! Hi honey.
How are you?
ISAAC: I'm good, and yourself?
KAREN: I'm fine. How's
the family holding up?
ISAAC: Not so well. Zac was
in the hospital for dehydration, but the' better now. Taylor's face
is all better. Well, that's debatable, but you get the point.
Avie decided she has a crush on your son. . .
KAREN: What?
ISAAC: Well, Avery decided that
she likes boys now. Before, she wasn't sure if she wanted to or not.
Then she decided that she likes Robbie.
KAREN: Oh God.
ISAAC: I know. Well, that's
it with my family. How's yours?
KAREN: Well, Rachel and Delia
are making a lot of new friends. Only the Klines know that they know
you. They've both been asked out countless times. Rachel told
one guy that she is training for the nunnery, but that fell through when
he found out about Ember. She covered her previous lame story by
saying that her incredibly rich boyfriend is actually traveling the world
with his parents on their yacht, but she didn't want to appear shallow
so she didn't tell them the truth right away. Delia told them that
her boyfriend is in jail after he was arrested for the trafficking of illegal
drugs. She then proceeded to tell them that is she cheated on him,
he would shoot their asses because he's also a member of a gang.
ISAAC: Delia turned me into
a delinquent? And Rae turned my brothers into some rich boy?
KAREN: Yes, that's pretty much
it. Rachel told everyone that her boyfriend is named Tyler.
ISAAC: Tyler? Now that's
original. What did Delia change my name to.
KAREN: Isaiah. Sound familiar?
ISAAC: A bit. So its Isaiah,
Tyler, and what? Zeek?
KAREN: [laughs] I wouldn't
be surprised. You never know. So--what's up?
ISAAC: Oh, right. Hershey concert
is August 28. Its a Tuesday. We'll send you tickets and backstage
passes. Just let us know how many you need. We can stay at
your house, right?
KAREN: Oh, yeah. We'll
let you know tomorrow. You can stay with us. No, forget the can,
you will stay with us.
ISAAC: Aww, we miss you, too.
Morgan and Tori might be with us. We might pick them us in Tulsa,
but we don't know.
KAREN: Okay--if they come, I'm sure
the girls will be excited to see them, too. When are you going to
be arriving?
ISAAC: Don't know. Its gonna
take about a day to drive up. Maybe the 27. I can't tell you for
sure.
KAREN: Alright. We'll
be ready for you. You'll have to meet our neighbors. Their
daughter is a huge fan and pretty good friends with the girls.
ISAAC: Yeah--that'll be cool.
Well, I gotta go. Let us know tomorrow. Tell Delia that I love
her.
KAREN: Okay, Isaac, I will.
[both hang up]
[Month later. Backstage at concert
in Tulsa]
MORGAN: [walks around cautiously.
Because of the Mac experience, she is afraid of all guys except Isaac]
Tori. . .where are they?
TORI: Dunno. I'm anxious
for the show. I brought ear plugs!
MORGAN: Good girl! There
they are! [Isaac, Taylor, Zac are signing autographs and taking pictures
with fans.]
TORI: Come on. [walk over and
get in the line.] [to girls around them in line] Hi, I'm Tori.
CAITLIN: Hi, I'm Caitlin
TARA: Hi, I'm Tara
MARCY: Hi, I'm Marcy
MORGAN: I'm Morgan.
CAITLIN: I can't believe we're
gonna meet them!
MARCY: I know, I'm so excited.
MORGAN: Tori, don't you think
its funny how girls cry when they meet them.
TORI: I'd cry, too, but not for the
same reasons.
MORGAN: [laughs] And autographs
and pictures. They get their picture taken with them and they freak.
Or they sign a piece of paper and girls, like, pass out.
TARA: That's cause its Hanson.
They're the best.
MORGAN: [to herself] They're
annoying.
TORI: I heard that, Morgan,
and I agree. But I'm still excited.
MORGAN: Yeah, our little group
is kinda back together.
TORI: Yup [get up to the
guys.]
MARCY: [shaking Zac's hand]
Hi--I'm Marcy.
ZAC: Hi [Morgan and Tori
cut between Marcy, Caitlin and Tara.]
TORI: Hi!
MORGAN: Hello
ISAAC: [smiles] Morgan!
[hugs her] Hey Tori!
TORI: Hey.
TAYLOR: How are you.
MORGAN: Okay
TORI: Pretty good, and you?
ZAC: [excitedly] I was
in the hospital!
TORI: Really?
ZAC: Yup--I was dehydrated.
TAYLOR: He passed out. It was
funny. [Zac glares at Taylor]
TARA: Poor Zac
ISAAC: My phone broke.
Its the only number Delia had--
CAITLIN: Who's Delia?
TARA: His girlfriend.
CAITLIN: Oh, yeah.
ISAAC: What if she tried to
call?
TAYLOR: She probably tried to
call and thought you were trying to get rid of her and now she's got a
new boyfriend. [Zac smacks Taylor.]
ZAC: Don't tell him that.
You'll send him into cardiac arrest.
TAYLOR: Ooops. . .sorry, Ike.
TORI: Taylor, you're so mean.
TAYLOR: [bitter] So, Tori,
how is John. . .now what was his last name
TORI: [dryly] Sawa
TAYLOR: Right! John Sawa.
TARA: I know him
CAITLIN: Yeah, he goes to our school
MARCY: Yeah
TORI: [smiles bitterly]
[to Taylor] He's fine. Are you still angry at him.
TAYLOR: Not at him. . .
TARA: Don't you like him?
TORI: I cheated on him with
John.
CAITLIN: You were dating Taylor?
TORI: Yeah.
MORGAN: You both need over get
over it [Taylor glares at Morgan] Eeep!
ISAAC: Are you guys still coming
with us?
MORGAN: Can't--acting gig.
I landed a new movie with the Olsen twins.
ZAC: [leaps at Morgan.
She freaks and backs away] My Mary-Kate? I want to meet my
Mary-Kate.
TAYLOR: [to fans] Zac
has a thing for Mary-Kate Olsen.
ZAC: [to himself.] She's
so cute.
CAITLIN: Zac really likes Mary-Kate
Olsen?
TAYLOR: Yeah--he owns all their
movies and he's got an autographed photo that he got by being a member
of their fan club. [Zac nods enthusiastically in agreement.]
TORI: I have been hangin' with
John since no one else is around.
TAYLOR: Oh--him.
ZAC: So--Morgan. Olsen
twins, huh.
MORGAN: Yes, Zac. Maybe
I'll introduce you if you play your cards right.
ZAC: Mary-Kate? My Mary-Kate?
Wow.
TAYLOR: So, Zac. Mary-Kate
or Rachel?
ZAC: Tough decision--both!
TAYLOR: Yeah, I'm sure that
they would go for that.
ISAAC: I'm so lucky I've got
Delia. And she's so great I don't have to worry about other girls.
ZAC: Can I smack him?
TAYLOR: Please.
ISAAC: [glares at Taylor and
Zac.] [To Tori.] Are you coming?
TORI: If Morgan can't go, I
can't go. Mom's rules.
ISAAC: Good--I mean, now I can
have more time with Delia. Its nothing personal. Its just one less
person to distract me from Delia.
TAYLOR: Oh, God. So, Zac,
ya think its gonna be just you, me and Rachel.
ZAC: It certainly appears that
way.
TORI: How terrible for you--I'm
sure you're heartbroken.
MORGAN: Well, we should go before
Tori gouges somebody's eyes out. Come on, Tori. Bye.
TORI: Bye, guys. Call.
ISAAC: When the phone is repaired,
we will. Bye.
TAYLOR, ZAC: Yeah, bye.
[hug girls. They leave]
[Tour bus, after Tulsa concet.
Driving to Lebanon]
ISAAC: Do you realize that we're going
to be on this bus for about 1 whole day.
TAYLOR: Longer, cause we have
to stop and rest.
DIANA: Thats right. you
can't just keep going like that Energizer rabbit.
ZAC: Actually, I think the Energizer
bunny is dead. You never see him anymore
TAYLOR: Or the Duracell family.
ZAC: Well, the bunny lasted
a lot longer than the Duracell family.
TAYLOR: True.
ZAC: Hey, Ike, do you realize
that this bus ride is gonna seem extremely long, because Delia is who you're
gonna see when you arrive.
TAYLOR: Yeah--its one of those
things like Christmas Eve. you're so close that the victory is farther
away.
ISAAC: yeah, but Zac's got Ember
and Rachel at the end of this trip.
ZAC: I know. I can't wait
to see Ember. Mom, the breaks can't be long--we have to make it there
for the 27.
DIANA: Why?
ZAC: Why? Its Ember's
birthday, Mom. Don't tell me you forgot.
DIANA: I did. Walker!
WALKER: Diana? What?
DIANA: Do you realize that Ember's
birthday is the 27.
WALKER: yes, thats why we're
all driving. . .well, except for Taylor. I want to get Zac there
in time. Lets see--its August 25 at 11:00 p.m. We have 23 hours ahead
of us. We can get there without any breaks on the 26, but we didn't
factor in traffic and we have to take small breaks. I'm thinking,
Monday morning. Plus, we have to buy Ember a birthday present.
DIANA: Okay
WALKER: Diana, relax.
Everything will be okay.
[Heverlings. Delia, Rachel
are hanging with Carissa, Joel, and Brian Kline, Jeremy Harding, Katie
Owen, Cara Hansell, and Jen Darkes]
JEN: So, tomorrow is Ember's
birthday
RACHEL: yeah
JEREMY: Is Ember's father, Tyler?
RACHEL: Yeah, but he won't be
here. Travelling the world in the yacht.
DELIA: What a shame.
KATIE: I'm looking forward to
the party. I bought Ember the cutest little gift.
JEREMY: Oh--I'll be late to
the party, but you know I wouldn't miss it.
RACHEL: Thanks, Jeremy.
JEREMY: Sure
[Taht night at Heverlings. Carissa
is sleeping over.]
CARISSA: When are they coming?
I'm so excited fot eh concet.
DELIA: I don't know, but the
way I understand it, Hershey is the last date of the tour, so they'll be
hanging here for a while.
RACHEL: I hope Zac makes it
for Ember's birthday. . .
DELIA: Do I hear a but?
RACHEL: But, how am I gonna
expalin Zac to them. They think I have a rich boyfriend named Tyler.
DELIA: Yeah--I know. Then
we'll ahve to explain that we lied.
[Tour bus pulls into Heverling driveway]
DIANA: Is this it?
WALKER: Lets know on the door
and find out. [All get out and walk to door. Knock. Karen
answers]
KAREN: [opens door. smiles.
hugs Diana] Diana! Oh, its so good to see you all. [calls]
Rob! [Rob comes to the door]
ROB: Hey. Zac doesn't
look so good.
TAYLOR: Zac got carsick
ZAC: All the way back in Indiana.
KAREN: Oh, honey, come in.
You need something? Tums, Maalox, Barf bag?
ZAC: Karen, its so good to see
you. [Karen hugs him and leads him into the kitchen]
ROB: How was the trip?
ISAAC: We spent 23 hours straight
in a bus. How good could it be?
ROB: I see your point. You gonna
ask where Delia and Rachel are, or have you forgotten them?
TAYLOR: We're waiting for Zac.
Plus, we want to surprise them. [Crying heard upstairs. Door
opens.]
RACHEL: [from upstairs]
Mom!
KAREN: Yes dear?
RACHEL: Ember's sick--we need
some medication up here and a lot of cleaning supplies.
KAREN: Cleaning supplies?
RACHEL: Lets just say that she
took after me. She'll puke where she stands.
KAREN: Okay, I'll be up
[looks to Zac.] Actually, you'll be up. [Hands him Resolve,
paper towels, two hand towels, and a spray bottle] Go take care of
your baby.
ZAC: [smiles at Karen]
Okay. I've been waiting 3 months to do this [walks out to Isaac,
Taylor and Rob]
ROB: Follow me [walk up
stairs. whispers] This is Ember's room. Go on in.
[Zac peeks in. Rachel has her
back to the door and she's changing Ember's clothes. Zac walks in
followed by Taylor and Isaac. They stay at the door and Zac sets
down the cleaning stuff. He walks up behind Rachel and lays
his hands on her shoulders. She jumps.]
RACHEL: [with her back to him]
Geez, you scared me. [turns around to face him. draws in a quick
breath, smiles, and starts crying] Oh my--Zac! [hugs him]
ZAC: Hi, Rae. [Isaac and
Taylor standing in corner and smiling. ]
DELIA: [coming in door with
Carissa behind her] Hey, are you alright? We thought we heard
[stops when she sees Zac. Looks to her right.] Ike. . .[runs
over to him and throws her arms around him]
ISAAC: [Holding Delia, stroking
her hair] Hey.
CARISSA: Hi? Wow--
TAYLOR: Hi. This might sound
weird, but can I hug you? Cause everyone else is hugging someone
and I feel kinda left out. [Rachel looks at Taylor and laughs]
CARISSA: Wow--
TAYLOR: By the way, who are
you?
CARISSA: I. . .I. . .
RACHEL: Thats Carissa.
[to Zac] Take care of your baby. [walks over to Taylor.]
You can hug me.
TAYLOR: Its about time I get
a hug. [they hug]
ZAC: Why do I always show up
when someone is vomiting. [picks up Ember] Hi, sweetheart.
Daddy's here. Aww, my little baby girl.
EMBER: [laughs] Da da da da
da [Zac kisses her cheek]
ZAC: Thats right. Da da
da da da.
CARISSA: I am a huge fan.
TAYLOR: Finally! Someone
who appreciates our music.
DELIA: [still in Isaac's arms]
She was dropped on her head as a young child.
ISAAC: Funny, Delia. [They
hear a scream. Ember starts crying.]
JOEY: [walks in rubbing his
eyes] Rae, I had this terrible dream that--[sees Isaac, Taylor and
Zac] Nevermind. It wasn't a dream. They really are here.
ZAC: Joey, I don't think I like
your attitude.
JOEY: [to himself] I don't
think I like you. [walks out]
ZAC: Somebody is a little cranky
[Rachel shrugs]
CARISSA: Rachel--
RACHEL: Huh?
CARISSA: The party.
RACHEL: Oh my God--how am I
gonna explain them?
TAYLOR: What?
RACHEL: We're having a birthday
party for Ember tomorrow. All of our friends are coming.
ISAAC: And they don't know about
us.
RACHEL: Actually, no.
ISAAC: But they do know about
Tyler and Isaiah.
RACHEL: Uh--yeah.
TAYLOR: Tyler and Isaiah?
ISAAC: Original, isn't it?
TAYLOR: Really.
KAREN: [calls up] Hey,
lights out. You can all catch up tomorrow.
RACHEL: [calls down] Okay!
[Zac lays Ember in her crib]
DELIA: I guess you can stay
in my room and I'll sleep in Rae's
ISAAC: Oh, Delia, come on.
[Karen and Rob walk in followed by Diana and Walker]
DIANA: We need to discuss sleeping
arrangements since we'll be here for a few weeks.
WALKER: Now, we've all talked
it out--
KAREN: And realized that nothing
will happen that hasn't happened before.
ROB: So, we're permitting Isaac
to stay with Delia in her room, and Zac can go with Rachel
WALKER: But realize that we're
trusting you and one false move could be fatale.
DIANA: Taylor, you are with
Mackie in the one guestroom. Your father and I are in the other.
KAREN: Robbie and Joey will
be in Robbie's room. Avery, Jessica and Zoe are in Joey's room.
ROB: Now, does that suit everyone?
TAYLOR: [to himself] I
think I got screwed in this arrangement.
RACHEL: Yeah, but Zac, you're
with Isaac tonight cause Carissa is over.
ZAC: Okay.
DIANA: Can we trust you?
ZAC: You can trust me.
RACHEL: [nods] I've taken
a vow of celibacy
DELIA: You can trust Ike
[Rachel, Taylor, Zac laugh]
ISAAC: Yeah, well you can trust
both of us. We've already had this discussion.
KAREN: Okay. Now all of you
get to bed. [Eveyone goes to bed.]
