PROLOGUE

It seems to be the people that have nothing that are so rich. I mean, think about it, there is so much unhappiness in the world, wars, poverty...and it's all a result of money. Sure, the people with money have power and influence, but when it comes to the crunch, they don't really have anything. It's the people that don't know what it's like to have something, that can suffer going without. I knew someone once, they had it all, money, influence, beauty...everything they could want, except for one thing and it's something that so many of us take for granted. But she had the most wonderful outlook on life and so, led a fulfilling life. But I knew someone else, another person who had it all. This one was perfect, she had money, influence, beauty and full use of her legs, but she wasn't happy. She thought she was, but she wasn't. She lived a sad life, in her deluded world where she could do anything she wanted.

I think that we could all learn so much from sacrificing we take for granted, it teaches you that there are more important things in life. Like watching sunsets, religion, friends, and love. And those are the important things in life, you just have to believe in something, and want it badly enough. Life is so short, it shouldn't be wasted on pettiness and bitterness. They are what make the world seem evil and tainted. It's the simple appreciation that we have life...and love, that will see us through in the end, no matter what.
