She had everything,
Beauty, charm, and grace,
Everything she ever wanted,
In her hair she wore ribbons and lace.
She knew her rights,
She knew her wrongs,
She knew life was short,
She would die before long.
She decided to wait to have sex,
This was her rule,
She would wait no matter what,
She wouldn't be fool.
She was asked out by a guy,
But remembered her rule.
She wouldn't have sex,
Even if the others said it was cool.
Her boyfriend took her to a movie,
He asked to sit in the back,
She agreed because she trusted him,
He broke her trust with an attack.
Everything she lived for,
Gone witht he blink of an eye.
why had she trusted him?
Why had she trusted this horrible guy?
Sure enough,
9 months later,
There she was on a hospital bed,
She was laying there in labor.
The man she had trusted,
Should have been by her side,
He wasn't much of a father,
If only he hadn't lied.
She chose to wait,
But only if he would of too,
The numbers of pregnant teens,
would be down a few.
