The Komet was a little aircraft
that was loaded with the strictly necessary elements both for weapons and
fuel. It happened several times that these defects forced the pilots to be
few effective during their attacks against the Allied bombers. (Aerospace
Publishing.)

 |
The limited dimensions of the cockpit greatly reduced the Komet's maneuverability and its dangerousness during take-off and landing caused a relevant number of casualties among Luftwaffe's pilots (Aerospace Publishing.)

The landing of Messerschnitt Me 262 after its first flight. The fuel that wasn't used completely after the brief journey caused a fire that is visible in the picture.(Aerospace Publishing)

The bottom part detail of this Me 262 shows the bombs hooking to the fuselage. Though this aircraft was an excellent fighter, Hitler insisted to adapt it as bomber, enormously limiting its efficiency. (Aerospace Publishing)

A V1 winged bomb is pushed along a take-off ramp. These devices were poorly efficient as weapons, but they were described as powerful tools by the Nazi propaganda.

A drawing of the inside section of a V2 rocket. These aircrafts were extremely powerful and well-developed during World War 2, but their construction required the use of materials that at the end of the conflict were impossible to find in the territory controlled from Germany.
