ITS YER TURN
It's Yer Turn....
How It's Yer Turn was created.....

It's Yer Turn was created by Patrick and I on a very cold  and snowy day. We were 4 foot deep in snow and 400 feet from the road. After having put shoveling off all day to do the more fun things you do when its snowing like; sledding, building snowmen, snow angels, and of course snow ball fights, we had to do the dreaded shoveling. At about 9 pm we bundled and booted up and headed out the door. First was to continue the shovel wide path from the door to the driveway. Once in the driveway we knew this was going to be a chore, with only one shovel, we agree'd to take turns. I handed Patrick the shovel with a smile and said," I will be right back".  I went into the house and retrieved a bottle of wine and 2 glasses.  As the shoveling progressed up the driveway so did the intoxication.   The snow shoveling between giggling  and the occassional snow ball toss was fun for about the first 50 feet.  During our breaks and on the 2nd  bottle of wine we started getting a little more creative with our wine drinking. Having lost our wine glasses to the snow, we took turns packing the neck of the wine bottle with snow and sucking it out. Even with taking turns doing that, that is not where its yer turn was created.  Now that we are about 250 feet up the driveway and 3 bottles of wine into the shoveling, I am resting  on a big rock burried in the snow watching Patrick shovel. Inward gleaming at how his muscles tighten with each toss of shoveled snow.  And how proud he seems to believe he is rescuing us and will be on his way to get a gallon of milk in about 150 more feet.

And then this is where it all STARTED...

He hands me the shovel...  I tossed 2 shovels of snow and leaned on the shovel as we shared another snow packed suck of wine and waited for him to put the wine back down in the snow and handed him the shovel smiling and said "Its Yer Turn".  Patrick takes the shovel and starts back to work as I sit back down on my snow covered rock to watch.   300 feet into it Patrick again hands me the shovel. Me snickering having devised a plan smiles and takes the shovel.  Patrick grabs the bottle of wine and of course brings it to share with me. I do 2 shovels of snow and again say, "Its Yer Turn".  Patrick takes the shovel again and starts shoveling... Then says hey, " This looks like the same place  I left off, just how much did you shovel?"  I grinned and said, " but Moogie Its Yer Turn".

It has been his turn ever since...

Here is some of the snow LOL
