"The Gaurdian of DreamGate" November 1, 2003. View the original sketch. Yumémon Meshitsukai is a character from the epic series-story Yumebara™, written by Me ^^. In the story, Yumémon is the daughter to Kinjiru Nami and Kirihana, playing the role of the DreamGate Guardian (Yumémon Meshitsukai means DreamGate Servant). Comments: This is the finished cg-image of Yumémon. I had spent about 9-10 hours CG-ing this. In the end, I would say the hardest part to CG was her hair, and figuring out a method for the wings. Apparantly commenters love the wings, so I think they were done pretty well (There's a nice blur-effect on them to suggest motion). As for improvement? Just in the art, I used the hair to cover eyes I had trouble drawing, and her body is not only disproportunate, but seemingly half-starved. Haha but its a really nice image that I had planned on using in a secret project, "Othwen", the sequel to Yumébara. I never got around to finish writing it, but I did use Yumémon in the Yumébara story, in the last chapters. The image itself was used frequently over the website for yumébara, just because it was one of the better and more popular character-images.
