"Katrina of the Silent Ones" August 23rd, 2003. Katrina is a character from the epic series-story of Blood and Ink, written by Huy Ho. In the story, Katrina is introduced as the forcefull sorceress who belongs to a group called the Silent Ones. Comments: This is another image in the series of requested images for Huy Ho's story. This one took about 8 hours to completely CG once I finished scanning the original sketch, and i must say: I hate this one. Huy requested an outfit for Katrina that would be flowing, but at the same time skin tight, and fit for battle, and he specifically asked for the ties/ribbons to be long enough for Katrina to use them like whips, as it may, when fighting. Though, this image was before I used multilayering, and the shading/shadowing is a simple burn tool, which made the cloth look good, but the skin tones are horrible. Apart from that, I rushed in the sketching, and did not even realize that the head was out of proportion until it was too late to go back.
