Short, fast, and to the point are the words that best describe Halifax�s Raygunomics. Raygunomics play politically-charged hardcore with jack-hammer precision.
Raygunomics has gigged with a lot of great bands such as The End, Closet Monster, GFK, and The Cancer Bats, Murder Squad T.O., Life Against Death, A Dying Race. They have developed a strong fan base in the Halifax all-ages and bar scenes and are currently concentrating on trips outside of the Maritimes. Most recently the band was in Montreal playing at Cafe Chaos w/ Murdersquad T.O., Bodybag and Truth or Scare.
Raygunomics hold fiercely to the DIY ethic. The band books their own shows and have independently released the 12-track debut album �Capitalize, Capitalize, Capitalize� in 2005. 2006 has already seen new material from the band; the "Resist Control" EP was released March 11th. The 6 song ep is the band's strongest material to date; both lyrically and musically. |
