RE:          Update

This memo contains an update on the current situations that are outstanding and a review from last memo update.

Review from last memo

I received Roy Hunter’s laptop

I emailed John about the Monarch software to see if there were any problems. I also let him know about Micro serve.

Michigan: Stephanie will be sending the laptop to Louisville as soon as she gets a UPS label.

Louisville

Dee Dee’s Outlook problem:

I emailed Dee Dee about a time that is good for her for me to work

Audit bag

The lock will need to be broken. Andrew said that he can’t remember what the code on the bag said before the accidental change.

Backup tapes

The number for the tape I need is item

 #  795633-74 4mm Tape storage 12 gigs. Price $23.99 each.

Frankfort

Tabitha’s file problems

She had trouble opening a file. The file was recreated and it is ok now.

Misc.

I know that there are 1 or 2 outstanding problems with Frankfort. Jennie and Sally’s email is set up and is going good right now. Jennie is out of the office today. Jessica is going to check with Jennie to see if she is having any problems whenever she gets back. I will get the update Wednesday when I call Terri when she returns from sick leave.

Virginia

Go system

Toni is sending the CD UPS next day. It may get here before I get here.

Backup

Micro serve is scheduled to go out to Virginia on Wednesday the 10 at about 10:00am. Toni has been notified. The tech will call before leaving to go to the site. I have reviewed what the company did before. They discovered last time that there was a bad tape being used. I know that Toni uses different tapes. So the tape drive itself may be having problems. When Micro Serve gets there they will look at the problem and are going to call me when they arrive.

Other

Inventory

I received some information from Frankfort, and Michigan on inventory. I will try to make corrections by the end of the week. I have to correct the database and update the individual history. I will submit the corrections to the web page as soon as they are made.

Question:

When is a good time to discuss the email? David has mentioned that he could give us some sort of trial run on the email service. It would probably be at a reduced rate which is almost nothing because the service is just $100-$150 a month.

Are there any jobs that need to be done while you are at Chicago later this week or before you leave?

Laptops available.

Grade             Item

C                    2 IBM 310ED THINKPAD

A                    2 IBM 2611

A                    Toshiba 2210 XCDS

The other laptops are not above a “D” rating.
