This is an update on what is being taken care of by the IT Specialist.
Louisville:
Jennifer’s desktop: I updated the desktop but had some trouble downloading the software. I am also going to schedule a disk defrag tonight.
Check on the scheduling of disk defrag and clean up of temporary files.
Frankfort:
I informed Terri that we have located Lee Ann’s laptop. We are still in the process on waiting for Roy Hunter to finish his project. He has a 310 ED laptop to turn in.
I got the inventory of Tabitha’s laptop. It used to be Frank’s old laptop.
Ruth & Rose laptops
I received Rose’s laptop today. I appreciate David for
picking it up for me. Mary Halley will keep Ruth’s laptop and issue it to the
new employee that comes to Frankfort to work for Healthcare. I plan on
traveling to Frankfort to do some maintenance and prepare the laptop for the
new employee next month possibly.
Virginia:
John called me about the Gateway laptop. I need to know if we want to send it back or if it will stay here. The reason is I have to uninstall the Monarch software. It is only licensed to one computer, in order to stay within the licensing agreement we would need to uninstall it. John told me that there wasn’t any data that needs to be sent to Virginia that may be on the laptop. There is another Gateway at the office, but it has some problems with the bay where the battery is held in the computer. It keeps slipping out. I don’t know if there are any other problems at this time with the laptop.
I have informed the Virginia office that I would ask about the status of the laptop and where it will be. Then I would let them know.
Michigan:
Stephanie: I found out from Stephanie that there was a Go system CD in her bag. It must have been up there for a while. I think it may have been sent there a time ago. I am shipping out the laptop UPS ground today. I will help Stephanie load the Go system software herself. I will let you know when to sen the new database to be imported.
Inventory:
I have a completed list of everyone’s inventory. I have been looking at any inconsistency’s that may be going on. I will have a list available possibly on the web very soon. I have signed up for a free web space on yahoo’s Geocites. At http://www.geocities.com/itspecialisttichenor/ .
