Hello, I'm Bill founder of PARTYTIME KARAOKE here in Lawton, Oklahoma welcoming you to this website. I've been doing KARAOKE in one form or another since 1992. Starting in Altus, Ok. as a singer then a host for "RAC ENTERTAINMENT" . As Rent-A-Center spun off RAC, "RAVE ENTERTAINMENT" , out of Dallas was my vehicle for Karaoke. The owner was Lindy Grooms, my regional manager was Kevin Hipple, from Lawton, now "Eagle Entertainment", and our crew included Kevin, Tommy Brooks Jr., from Altus, and Jimmy Rendall, now "Jimmy's Klassic Karaoke", here in Lawton. In a cost cutting move, RAVE decided to end the title of Regional manager and Kevin was out of a job. He then hooked up with "KARAOKE KONCEPTS" out of Wichita Ks., and one week later I joined Kevin. One week after that, Jimmy joined and the 3 of us were back together. After about 6 months with "KARAOKE KONCEPTS" the 3 of us decided to form our own company and bought 3 systems from Scott Ward, Pres. of "KARAOKE KONCEPTS", in Wichita. Our new company then was called "KARAOKE KONCEPTS II". After countless number of shows from "Guys & Dolls", "The Southern Club", "Gertlestones", Brannigans", The Little Star", "Helens Club", "The Fiddlers Green", "The Dew Drop Inn", "Hoffmans Bar & Grill", and "The Gunners Inn" in Lawton/Ft. Sill, and "Diamond Belles", "Row 3", "The Windjammer", "Lonesum Dove", "The Parkway Grill", "Klicks", "The Rusty Nail", and a few more I can't remember in Wichita Falls, and "The Office Lounge", and "Cedars", in Altus, and numerous other shows in Hobart, Chickasha, Duncan, and the surrounding areas, the 3 of us decided to split up in November of 1995. Thats when "PARTYTIME KARAOKE WAS BORN !!!!!" |
