(Things Mike Has Made and Approves Of. A shot is 1.5oz)

Drink Name Recipe Instructions Comments
B-52 0.5oz Kahlua
0.5oz Irish Creme
0.5oz Grand Marnier
Layer the three ingredients into a shotglass, starting with the Kahlua and ending with the Grand Marnier. Do not mix, and shoot all at once. Expensive. We have tried Chambord in place of the Grand Marnier, and it is very good as well (Chambord is heavier than Kahlua).
Dry Martini 2.0oz Gin
0.5oz Dry Vermouth
Olive
Mix the two liquors in a shaker, add ice, shake, and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with olive. We used Bombay Sapphire for gin. (Better if 'shaken, not stirred'). Sip slowly.
Sex on the Beach 1.5oz Vodka
1.0oz Peach Brandy
2.0oz Orange Juice
2.0oz Cranberry Juice
Mix all ingredients together, serve in a tumbler over ice. This is the 'fake' recipe, and is an alternative to the other recipe. One can use peach schnapps instead of peach brandy.
Downhome Punch 1.0oz Whiskey
1.0oz Peach Schnapps
2.0oz Sweet and Sour
2.0oz Orange Juice
Top with Sloe Gin
Mix all ingredients together, serve in a tumbler over ice. Add enough sloe gin to color. Use good whiskey, like Jack Daniels. Tastes like fruit punch.
Kamikaze 1.0oz Vodka
1.0oz Triple Sec
1.0oz Lime Juice
1.0oz Sweet and Sour
Mix all ingredients together, serve in tumbler over ice. Garnish with cherry, orange, lemon, or lime. Yeah I wrote this recipe. Serve very cold. Originally, the recipe called for 1.5oz of each ingredient, but it turned out too large.
Cosmopolitan 2.0oz Vodka
1.0oz Triple Sec
1.5oz Cranberry Juice
0.5oz Lime Juice
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a martini glass. Use good vodka, because it's mostly vodka. This is best if shaken.
Lynchburg Lemonade 1.0oz Whiskey
1.0oz Sweet and Sour
1.0oz Triple Sec
2.0oz Lemon-Lime soda
Mix all ingredients together, serve in a tumbler over ice. Soda water can be substituted for lemon-lime soda. Use good whiskey, like Jack Daniels.
Sex on the Beach 0.5oz Raspberry Liquor
0.5oz Melon Liquor
0.5oz Liquor
1.0oz Pineapple Juice
Top with Cranberry Juice
Mix all ingredients together, serve in a tumbler over ice or in a large shotglass This is the 'real' recipe, and is an alternative to the other recipe. Strange that they both taste similar.
Dirty Martini 2.0oz Gin
0.5oz Dry Vermouth
0.5-1.0oz Olive Brine
2 Olives
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with two olives. Use good gin, such as Bombay Sapphire. If it's too salty, use less olive brine.
Crantini 1.5oz Vodka
0.5oz Triple Sec
0.5oz Sweet Vermouth
4.0oz Cranberry Juice
Cranberries
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with cranberries This is like a cranberry flavored martini. It's weaker than a cosmopolitan, but it has vermouth.
Sloe Gin Fizz 2.0oz Sloe Gin
0.5oz Lemon Juice
Fill with Soda Water
Orange, Lemon, Cherry
Mix all ingredients (except soda water) into a tumbler with ice. Fill with soda water and stir once. Garnish with orange, lemon, and or cherry. Sloe gin tastes like cough syrup, but it's really good in this recipe.
Oatmeal Cookie 1.0oz Irish Cream
1.0oz Goldschlager
Mix ingredients together into a shotglass. Serve chilled. It really does taste like an oatmeal cookie.
French Martini 2.0oz Vodka
1.0oz Pineapple Juice
0.25oz Chambord
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a martini glass. Use good vodka, because that's mostly what it is.
Chambord and Vodka Splash 0.5oz Vodka
0.5oz Chambord
Soda Water
Orange
Mix the two liquors, and pour into a martini glass half-filled with ice. Fill with sparkling water and garnish with an orange slice. Much weaker than a martini. Do not shake with soda water. No real need to even stir with soda water.
Chambord Vodka Tonic 1.0oz Vodka
Splash Chambord
Tonic Water
Lime
Splash Chambord into a glass with ice, add the vodka, then fill with tonic water. Stir once, and garnish with lime. A great alternative to gin and tonic.
Chambord Irish Raspberry 0.5cup Cracked Ice
1.0oz Irish Cream
1.0oz Chambord
Whipped Cream
Raspberry, Strawberry
Put ice into a champagne glass, add the liquors, and top with whipped cream and berries The ice is necessary to thin the drink out. This drink looks good.
Grateful Dead 0.5oz Vodka
0.5oz Rum
0.25oz Tequila
0.5oz Gin
0.5oz Blue Curacao
1.0oz Melon
1.0oz Black Raspberry
1.5oz Sour Mix
Mix all liquors into a glass with ice, and top with lemon-lime soda.
