GAELIC BANISHING PENTAGRAM RITUAL by Christy

Stand and face the East. Imagine a bright light touching the top of your head. Reach up with your index finger, wand, or athame  to connect with the light and bring it to your forehead.

Touch your forehead and say: Bhuait, a Cruithear or From you, Creator
Touch the breast and say: na Rioghachd or the Kingdom
Touch the right shoulder and say: na Neart or the Power
Touch the left shoulder and say: 's na Miadh or and the Honor
Clasp the fingers over the breast and say: An Talamh, gu sior or The World, Everlasting
Say: Failte  or Hail

Face East. Use an athame or index finger of the right hand to trace a lesser banishing pentagram. As you do so, say: Goath an Ear or East Wind. Thrust the dagger or index finger through the center of the pentagram and say: Adhar or Air. Keep the right arm extended throughout, never letting it drop. The pentagram should be visualised in a  blue or white light.

Go to the south and draw the same pentagram while saying: Goath a Deas or South Wind. Thrust through the center of the pentagram and intone: Teine or Fire.

Go to the west and draw the same pentagram while saying: Goath an Lar or West Wind. Thrust through the center of the pentagram and intone: Uisge or Water.

Go to the north and trace the pentagram while saying: Goath a Tuath or North Wind. Thrust through the center of the pentagram and intone: Talamh or Earth.

Invocation:

Return to the east and stand in the position on the Tau cross. Say:
Before me Don, Queen of Heavens
Behind me Llyr, King of the Sea
On my right hand Brigid, of the Ever-burning fire
On my left hand Cernunnos, Lord of the Forest
For about me are
Nan Deathan or The Gods. And in the center is Cocothrom or Equilibrium.

Repeat the gaelic Qabalistic Cross as in the beginning.
