SIMPLE STENCILS

What you need:
computer paper
spray paint
tape

What to do:
Cut a simple design on your paper and spray paint it.

Note: Obviously this is a little more difficult than it sounds but not much. I cut a triple moon stencil design out of compter paper, took it outside to my front steps, taped it on the step, added other paper near it in case of overspray, sprayed it with a metalic gold paint, and it looks great. Of course, inside the house or on objects like lampshades, you would make sure that the house is protected from overspray and that you are in a well ventilated area ((-:

1/2 cup salt
1/4 tsp essential oil

food coloring

What to do:
1] In a bowl mix the dry ingredients
2] Add oil and boiling water to dry ingredients - the scent will be strong but fades when it dries
3] To color stones - add food coloring a drop at a time
4] Make sure all is blended well and form into ball (your stones) and let dry.

Note: The balls can be used in any magick. Work with the colors, scents, and the north elements. Be creative! - replacement for potpourri, in sachets, etc...

FAERY DRESS

What you need: 2 to 2 1/2 yard of Indian Gause, fabric dyes, fabric glue, paint, beads with large holes,

What to do:
1] Fold the fabric lengthwise then widthwise.
2] At the top where the two folds meet, cut a curved line for the neck and then move down to the open sides and cut out the sleeves (start the opening about bra level).
3] Then angle off to the knee length and curve towards the bottom.
4] Sew from the arm opening to the start of the curve.
5] Turn rightside out and cut the neck and hem in a random ragged edge.
6] Paint the edges with fabric glue and let dry. Decorate how you want.

Note: Choose a color the corresponds with the type of faery you with to be or make contact with. Then either tie dye, spatter dye, or wet and fabric paint the fabric to get a watercolor effect. This pattern and picture can be found in the book  EVERYDAY MAGIC by Doraty Morrison and was picked up from Diane at the Spellcraft e-mail list.

BLACK BOOK

IDEAS:
1) By a leather photo album and whole punch for paper. I also by paper with desighs I like on it.

2)Use a binder. A photo album and binder allow you to sort and rearrange your black book into organized sections. It also allows you to remove pages unlike a binded book.

3)By a notebook/s. With multiple not books you can use one for spells, another for recipes, another for herbal lore, and so on. By putting them all in one large binder you can keep them nicely organized too.

4)Build your own website like this one and record everything on there or use it to accompy your own black book.

5)Use your wordprocessor and organize each section with files.
