THE BOND

Upon this day a request was made,
for me to come and forge the way.
In the army of the Lord,
We wage the battle for His glory.
For from this day our lives did change,
never more to be the same.

He ask of me to be a friend,
and now our friendship knows no end.
Our strength we share when in need,
to accomplish every deed.
The smiles, the laughter and the tears,
from a bond for endless years.
